Re: Good bye Volley, It was nice knowing you... : (

The loss of volley was pretty logical. And multishot... at least with a point dashed into serpent spread... is perfectly alright. An aoe pack won't stay up that long anyway, so it works well.

In larger packs I'd opt to single target anyway. Works well.

As neat as vanity is... I'd only be interested if a collar would allow me to put a gem or something into it. Maybe it'd be worthwhile then, haha.

Really? I love the patch still.

I used to despise survival, and now I prefer it over BM. It feels more comfortable in a raid situation. Also the damage is quite appealing.

I've been staking the cave out for some time to no avail...

However, I have a lot of camping experience, haha. Jadefang will show soon enough.

Re: Deep Spiders are now tamable! New Shale Spider exotic fa

These spiders make for wonderful tanking. Even at level 83 they sport 70k health and hold aggro impressively. They also make the most adorable squeaking sounds when they attack. Help me, but I believe I've discovered my favorite Cataclysm tenacity pet in the form of something I fear in real life. (T...

Re: Early BM/pet dps testing

I've noticed this as well. Blizzard stated they brought bm back in line with the other two specs, sv out-dpsing by a small margin, and from testing on this end I end up around the same ballpark as yourself. A little lower, but my pets aren't quite 85 yet.

Brainbugs and Colossus are now smaller.

I apologize for not updating my previous pet dps thread like I intended... real life got rather... real, basically. But now I have beta reinstalled, and upon login, my Colossus is now a smaller version. Still large enough to satisfy me, but no more gigantic bugs. At least this shows Blizzard is lett...

Re: So far at the target dummies...

Sorry for the delay, I went to bed and proceeded to work. Now that I'm home, I'll tend to irl stuff and then knock out requests tonight. :) I will use my offspec for the other specs, of course. Edit: I was indeed using the pet's buffs... meaning the cat was roaring, the devilsaur was reducing healin...

So far at the target dummies...

I've been testing a few pets tonight on the beta, before bed. It was rather fun! First I used a cunning chimera pet. Sinister, his name is, wasn't too hot on damage. Together we topped off at roughly 6k. However, his aoe will be invaluable for trash and whatnot; definitely a keeper. Next, Reptar the...

Re: Puppy build Hunter changes

The nerf was going to come. It was laughable at the damage we could do. If anything it would of been a royal mess for pvp... I won every duel with my pet doing over half the damage with 40k KC crits. Only prot warriors bothered me, but even they got a small kick this last patch. Camo was also too go...

Re: New PTR option: race change

They did this so they may test the features for the new class/race combos on the beta. Good thing too, because going worgen leaves you in human form with no racials. Testing was needed.

Enjoy it on the ptr and beta, because come live it will not be there.

Re: 9/19/10 Patch - Crash City

My main beta hunter is crashing ruthlessly. Upon logging it I see the steps I was on, my ui, but then it freezes and crashes. Deleting the cache did not work.

But all is well! I still had a 85 premade transfer available, so my research can continue. My first hunter will just have to sit pretty, heh.

Re: No Worgen Mount?

I actually love this implementation for the worgen "mount". It fits very well with the race itself. When they amble about, it almost looks like they want to get down onto all fours and take off sprinting, but restrain against it to adhere to society norms, if just a little. Worgen are fera...

Re: Video of the female Worgen's new looks!

I imagine that since there are no other face structures to choose from (when changing face, only the markings change), that this form is still well in progress. Just like how the male worgen took a few tries (and still requires tweaking), the female will be the same. I do like the feral aggression i...

Re: Cataclysm being Rushed ?

Well it really depends. The Blizzard employees are constantly working to fix the bugs and whatnot, and since they are a large corporation, I imagine their tec team is vast. November is a solid month and then some, and with the amount thats been fixed/changed already, it is a real possibility. Howeve...

Re: King Krush

With the tame beast buff they did that doesn't reduce armor anymore, Krush has become easier to tame. Sure the fear may be a trifle annoying, but at a higher level (I was 85, almost 80k health), Krush was gray to me and often missed. He did fear me once but it wasn't a problem. The tame beast buff c...
