Yup it doesn't work anymore and I'm kind of pleased they fixed it because it was just too easy to tame with pet abandon. On the other hand if you want a challenge the kill/rez method still works. This is the REAL way to tame pets with buffs and I can only encourage blizzard to implement this style ...
