Re: Alliance chopper is in as a gold sink
Blizz said during the building competition that the winning bike would be placed in the game as a mount that was FOR FREE. The implication was always that both bikes would eventually be made available in game. The Horde one won, and people have had plenty of time to log into their accounts to receiv...

Re: Titan canceled after 7 years
The Sci-Fi/Space MMO game market already has quite a few out and some others in dev that look pretty interesting. Games like Star Wars TOR, Star Trek Online, and the upcoming Firefly MMO. Plenty of games out there for fans of that sorta thing. Blizz has the most success with Fantasy games, Warcraft/...

Re: Molten Core Anniversary Dungeon
If they made it like holiday dungeons, have a fresh lockout with a special loot bag each day, so people can run it multiple times a week instead of once a week that'd be awesome and a more than fair way for people to have plenty of shots at getting the special mount and pet. While I enjoy exploring ...

Looking for Oceanic Guilds
Specifically on Jubei'Thos/Gundrak. I've recently moved off US servers to go play with some friends who live in Australia, and I've found I like the quality of people on Oceanic servers better. Got my main warlock in my friends guild, as it's my first lock since LK I asked them to place it as a casu...

Re: Those lil pets that stick to you like a limpet
Mine's a blue dragonhawk from Sunwell. It's on my alliance main hunter, named after my friend's warrior toon that helped me tame it. So I'd been helping my friend get back into playing, and was helping him gear and level right around the end of Cata to prepare him for MoP. I'd been running with him ...

Re: Help! I need a pug fugly butt ugly hunter pet!
Thanks all for the suggestions. I decided to go tame Hibernus the Sleeper in Tirisfal Glades once I hit 18. It works for my 'ugly' pet for now. Also gives me a decent 'emergency tank' to use in random dungeons, since I've been seeing a sudden bunch of Fury Warriors and Ret Pallies who mistakenly thi...

Help! I need a pug fugly butt ugly hunter pet!
Yep, you read that right. I need a pug fugly butt ugly hunter pet. Something that'd be easily tameable on a horde hunter. Before people start reaching for the torches and pitchforks, it's for a specific concept of a belf hunter I've recently made. I've got the pretty pet in the dragonhawk that he st...

UI mods?
Pre-MoP I used ElvUI and liked it, but I uninstalled it before MoP hit to avoid any glitching on patch day. Haven't reinstalled it yet, and been wondering about other UI mods. I'm looking for one that's easy to install and use, and dosen't take watching a bunch of youtube vids to learn how to work w...

Re: Best pet unexpected pets
Stompy the rare gray goat from the mountains in Kun Lai. I was out doing some archeology up there when I spotted his tracks. Being as it was still really early in the new x-pac, as in less than a week since it'd come out, I knew about the new rare tracks mechanic but hadn't read up on all of the new...

Re: Stupid crz
A couple friends of mine have put it out on the official forums the idea of having rare pets be immune to crz to avoid this exact thing from happening. Hopefully Blizz pays attention to it and possibly makes some changes to fix the issues like these.

Re: Exodus Done With 25 Man Raiding
Not only is it a huge time commitment, gearing up for the new raid content, getting familiar with the fights/boss mechanics, ect, but there's also a fresh crop of newer 'casual' lfr raiders, many who are ready to transition from lfr to doing normal raids. I see this as a double edged sword, in that ...

Re: <Guardians of Xuen> Moon Guard - US
I haven't RP'd for a long while, got outta it when my stepbro quit WoW as he was my constant RP partner and one of the few who didn't mind the typos I make due to being dyslexic. Had some less than fun encounters with some 'RP snobs' on a few servers that just put me off wanting to become part of an...

Booo! Used to love dropping them around during raid breaks just to see hunter pets and animal form druids and shammies doing their dances. Now I don't bother anymore, if I can't see my worg doing the 'Snoopy dance' then there is no point.

My wrestling-themed pets
I have quite a few pets in my main hunter's stable that have been named for different wrestlers. Most of them are 'indy darlings', as I am a huge Ring of Honor fan, and many of them have been named for previous RoH Champions & RoH tag champs. For each one I'll give a brief reason why I decided o...

Re: Random Pet Family Appreciation Thread 19: Sporebats!
I recently was asked by my guild's raid lead to go tame a sporebat to help fill a missing buff in our ToT 25 groups. Normally I can't stand to have any sort of flying pet due to the constant wing flap sounds, there are some flying wasps and slith's I love the look of, but have had to release due to ...

Re: Dire Horn names
Blue one, named Billy for the Power Ranger. Had to get one of the new black devilsaurs too, once I saw 'em it was a case of gotta have it. The new devilsaur has been named Kevin Steen after the current Ring of Honor world champ, and fits in nicely with my theme of naming pets for fave indy wrestlers...
