The ability to choose which pets stick in the Call Stabled Pet slots for each spec would be nice, but I wouldn't want pets to ONLY be available to one of my specs.

If you can get a pet warrior for 10 minutes or so, try this: Get warrior to stack Sunder x5 on your dummy, and keel dummy with Core Hound. If you were the -only- hunter in WoW... If ANY pet you picked was unique, because nobody else had pets... If ANY pet you picked had people whispering you "OMG, how did you get that pet??" If you were the only player walking around with a beast at your side... If all pets had the same dps.....

As far as I know, raptors are right up there near wolves in combined hunter/pet dps, and with certain stats are actually your top pet. I can't remember what it was but I think it was very high %crit. Yeah, I'm in mostly ICC gear but the same situation--4-5k dps in heroics, 6k+ in helpfully-composed heroics & all raids, 7-8k+ in ICC with the buff. Heck, I got 8.2k on Loken today, had BL for the duration so the epeen meter looked great :lol: I've gotten to the point where I no longer feel the ...
