Tamed an owl on hyjal, pre-tame, 30k health, post tame, 20k health, post talents, 6k health. Pets are borked right now, time and blizz devs will fix this. until then though I have to find a different class to play because with as hard as mobs hit in cata this bug ain't gonna fly.

On a pvp server? Well, the best way to level any pet is to bring them along on heroics. between 6 and 8 will bring any new tame to 80. It's a breach of etiquitte to do so though. But if you put out enough dps yourself, it shouldn't hamper the run. most won't call you on it unless you're trailing far...

Here's the rub though. If you note in the video, he's only level 7. By the time you're 10, you are well out of that phase and off that particular island.
