Re: Having a macro issue.
So changing topics a bit...Kind of. This is the current iteration of my mark macro: #showtooltip /cast [@target, harm] Hunter's Mark /cast [known:Misdirection, @focus, help, nodead] Misdirection; [known:Misdirection, @pet, nodead] Misdirection /petautocaston [nogroup] Growl /petautocastoff [group] G...

Re: Having a macro issue.
After looking into it some more, I find that this is a bug that has persisted in the game since roughly 2020, despite numerous reports and forum posts about it...GG Blizz

Having a macro issue.
So I have a slight problem with inserting pet stances into macros.
/petassist and /petpassive both work as expected.
/petdefensive however....Does not do anything.
I would much rather use the defensive stance over the assisting one in my macros, anyone know a solution?

Re: Is it time to remove pet talent types?
There was 0 reason to change a working system and I'm baffled they did it in the first place. No one asked for it. No one likes it. The best part of playing a hunter is picking your favorite pet and bonding with it or going matchy-matchy with your theme/outfit. Being stuck using clefthooves and spi...

Re: Suggestions for our Lurker.. ;)
I recently noticed this nice cat when revisiting Nazjatar on my Dwarven hunter. https://www.wowhead.com/npc=154624/phantom-nightsaber I haven't done any the Shadowlands stuff, so I didn't have the tome of bonebinding. But, despite Beast-lore telling me it was not tamable, it listed pet skills and di...

Conflicting emotions.
So the other day I finished something that's been in my bucket list for a while. To tame one of each mechanowolf colors! With my collection now finally complete, I feel very happy about myself....And at the same time a bit sad. When I started this project, pet families where still not locked into sp...

Re: Blue Dire Toad Model Change
Fixed the toads on the PTR to the old skin, though not the overall issue of pets shrinking to PVP-exploit size due to the buggy model code of confusing Poly/Hex models with hunter pet models. But since this bug has existed since WoD I think Blizzard just doesn't really care. Annoying to deal with t...

Re: Help me name my pets please
Thank you very much, I really do appreciate the effort. Unfortunately though, none of those names really speak to me...They are not bad by any means, but they just don't "feel right" if that makes sense? Tau - for some reason gives me sci-fi vibes, I see Warhammer 40K space marines in my m...

I see, thanks for the info.
I've gotten a bunch of that traders tender, but I haven't really seen anything I wanted to spend it on yet.
Does items rotate in regularly, or is it always different each month?

Help me name my pets please
Hello, I've stumbled upon a lack of inspiration for pet names. I would appreciate some aid in this endeavor please. All my characters are on a RP server, so while I'm happy with funny and/or punny names. I would not want to annoy roleplayers with something terribad. I used to be (technically I still...

Almost forgot, a hunter needs an appropriate pet. So for this Darkmoon Jester Hunter, I think this hyena suits this mog and location...now its time to "entertain" the kiddies...🤡😈 "Creep on in..."- Luniz and Michael MarshallJester Hunter Creep.JPG Hey! That is a really cool tran...

Re: Help an old man catch up please.
That sounds great actually....In theory. But I don't have the greatest confidence in Blizzard making useful A.I. buddies though. I have this gnawing feeling that: 1. Having said A.I. Buddies along will become mandatory and 2. It will basically be the vanilla escort quests all over again....Wit...

Re: Help an old man catch up please.
Just be careful with the autogrowl because if you dungeon with other folks without having preapproval that's likely to get you kicked. Indeed, hence the [nogroup] condition in the macro, I intended for my pet to be dismissed should I be involved in group activity, since I've read that the 10% damag...

Re: Help an old man catch up please.
Thank you! Growl is now no longer automatically on your pet's action bar. You will need to put it in there from your spell book. That is such an odd decision, won't this just potentially confuse new players? It also will be turned off automatically when you go into dungeons That's understandable.......

Help an old man catch up please.
Hello everyone. It's been a while! (my last activity here was 2014, yikes!) I've had a long hiatus from WoW, about 3 years. But I'm just now returning back....And there has been some changes. I haven't kept up with patch notes or anything while I was away (I never intend to return, yet I always do)....

Re: Talkative wolf
Yep, same thing on my wolf. Though I chose Deathmaw just because I like a vocal doggie  The buffs have been changed to be a permanent thing, aslong as the pet is active, like trueshot aura sort of. So every time the wolf is summoned, you will gain the buff and thus hear the noise. However d...

Floyd...Yep
Wasn't even my pet as I was playing a paladin at the time (vanilla), but my wife and I took a lovely trip to Mulgore to tame Mazzranache the pink tallstrider, at lvl 15-20:ish
It was quite the treck from Ironforge to get there for our little dwarven couple.

Re: If you could tame it...
I've always considered myself a huge packrat, never enough bagspace.
Even now when we no longer need to haul around a huge sack of ammo.
Thus only one untamable has really stood out to me amongst the other and made me say "I wish I could tame THAT"
