Re: Nah'qi, Ember of Regrowth
Speaking within the context that this is exclusive to Mythic Fyrakk, I'm personally not a fan of this type of content. Whilst I think the idea is interesting, this should have ultimately been a type of challenge tame, and if they wanted there to be some level of prestige to it, they could have fed i...

Re: 10.2 Guardians of the Dream: Beasts Thread
All the new tames look great. This patch would be perfect to introduce Greater Gorms, especially with us getting to tame the Daughter of Kimbul. Here's to hoping at least.

Re: Write up for Gorm Matriarch tamability
Appreciate it! I'm always advocating for new pets and more interesting pets to be added to our pool. :) I just wanted to shed some light on my thoughts and feelings on the situation, and most importantly, I wanted to give some insight towards anyone perusing our forums to help nudge Blizzard into th...

Re: Write up for Gorm Matriarch tamability
Thank you all for the constructive criticism and positive feedback! It's been a pleasure to read your responses. :) I definitely think that gorm matriarch tamability is something that appears to be a strange choice to be passed off, and I think with other gorms being tamable, this is even more of a ...

Write up for Gorm Matriarch tamability
Introduction https://www.wow-petopia.com/images/skin_pix/decomposerlargewhite.jpg At the beginning, when Shadowlands was first announced, we got a glimpse of the Greater Gorms through the initial trailer. I was very excited, but as the Alpha and Beta progressed, we only saw one that was only ever t...

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
Any NPC in a Mission has an actual NPC in the database. Even the Champions that we use for Missions have extra NPCs specifically for that purpose. Hopefully in 9.1 another taming pass can be done and make it so that the Matriarchs can be tamed :) Hopefully! I do find it interesting how this stuff h...

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
... I think I have to disappoint you there this is under "Follower Encounters" Name: Darkwarren Matriarch Npc: Darkwarren Matriarch Abilities: Auto Attack: Deal damage to an enemy at range. Queen's Command: The Queen commands her minions to do better, healing them for $ s1, and buffing th...

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
Been frequently checking, in hopes that https://shadowlands.wowhead.com/npc=175254/darkwarren-matriarch is most certainly not a troll. From my understanding, this variation of the NPC hasn't been found on Beta yet, and considering no other Matriarchs have been given the label, it still raises the qu...

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
Also, there are a few Gorm Matriarchs in Ardenweald, but none are currently tameable. They're quite imposing! Very disappointing, but I appreciate the update! Maybe something will change by the time launch hits. They look beautiful in game. No Gorm, other than the wasps, are tameable at the moment,...

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
It's hard to be sure, at this stage, if they'll end up tameable, but I think at least the medium-sized ones should be. It's possible even the designers don't yet know how they'll classify them. Maybe they'll be grouped with Krolusks or given a family of their own. I've seen the "Tamed" on...

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
I really hope we see mini Ardenweald G'huun boys in our stables too, it'd be such a shame if we couldn't tame these boys. They've been a staple for me ever since I saw them in the trailer. https://www.wow-petopia.com/images/skin_pix/decomposerlargeblack.jpg They have such pretty, pretty anten...

Re: [IDEAS] Pet Family Rework for Shadowlands
Great ideas Wain! I just wanted to share my feedback with you and the community. :) I do love the idea of pets being able to switch specs again, it "breaks up" the meta for pets a little more. Having pets with multiple spec options, considering their traits and abilities are a lot more imp...

Re: Greater Gorms
A well put together post, Beviah! I do think that the wasps and the beetle-like Gorm will be tamable. I do not know about the greater Gorm, but it could happen. :) However, in regards to the two Silithid wasps mentioned earlier in your post, their tamability has nothing to do with lore. Within the ...

Re: Greater Gorms
I sincerely apologize for the very text and image intense post guys. I get a little carried away with these type of things. This is purely speculation , but I've been thinking, which has led me to being a little more hopeful. Despite the fact that the Greater Gorms using the G'huun skeleton, I...

Re: Greater Gorms
It would be cool if they made a Gorm family with all the different types in it, to be honestly. But the reason I can't see this model becoming tameable, other than the fact that they're an adapted G'huun is the fact that they don't have any swimming animations (yet), sadly I hope so too, and I hear...

Re: Greater Gorms
I really, really hope these become tameable! Nicely detailed and so unique compared to current hunter pets. I hope so too! :D I have to agree, I think the way they created the new skins for the models and color pallets are really something special compared to everything else we have. Fingers crosse...

Greater Gorms
So if this belongs in the Shadowlands thread, then I apologize, I just wanted a more fine scope to discuss these boys without creating an additional thread in the Shadowlands section; https://www.wow-petopia.com/images/skin_pix/decomposerlargewhite.jpg I know that the likelihood is very low, so I've...
