This bm hunter had to send two of his pets to the last hunt today.
They grown up together, they went to sleep together.


They were both terminally ill for some time and decision had to be made.
It's one of the hardest decisions I had to make in my life and I can't stop feeling guilty about it no matter how I try to rationalize it.

I just had to shout something somewhere on the internet.

You have absolutely done the kindest and most loving thing you could do for these beloved companions. I know you hurt very much but you saved them from suffering and that is the hardest task of all the things we do for them. I write this through tears for you and for all the animals I've loved and lost. You touched my heart with this post and picture.

While a bit late with my words, but I am very sorry for what you and your companions had to go through. I know from personal experience how hard and heartbreaking it is. However, you made a decision that only a loving and responsible owner could do and saved them from the suffering.

While it isn't much a relief in your griefed state, I applaud you for your courage to do the right thing, no matter how painful.

I'm sorry but I only just saw this too. I'm at a loss at how much this must have pained you. I guess the only solace is that they did it all together, right to the very end. I instantly teared up after reading your post, I'm so sorry for such a loss, but thank you for sharing.

I only just saw this too. I'm so sorry for your loss, especially both at once like that

I know how you feel about having to make that decision. It's one of the hardest and most unfair decisions you ever have to make, but you made the right one and they were lucky they had such a caring person as you as their human.
