Sandra: I always spend some time each day dealing with e-mail – and I get enough e-mail now that I recruited some people from my forum community to help me go through it. Other than that, it all depends on what’s going on in the game.

I'm unsure I'm understanding this...So I'm going to say it how I think it means. I understood that as your not the only person who checks your email ?

I'm the only person who checks my e-mail, and I read all of it.

But some messages I forward to one of my helpers for a response. Examples would be people who write to let me know about incorrect information on Petopia - I make a note of it and ask a helper to send back a thank you note. Or a question from a new hunter who doesn't quite understand how to start taming at level 10 and needs some extra help. That sort of thing.

You know, I hadn't even thought about that until you asked. It does sound rather odd.

I used to use form responses for some of those things, but there's always details to change and they were worthless for answering questions. On the other hand, I get overwhelmed easily when I try to do things the right way and end up not answering anything at all, so ... *shrug* This compromise is sort of working for now.

That was an interesting interview to read. I do look forward to seeing what you do with Petopia in the future. I know that for the pet ability comparison, Malazee has done an outstanding job here. I've double-checked some of it myself, and can tell you that she was very thorough.
