Because we have lots of entries for the haiku contest, we will be doing multiple polls for the first round and a run-off between those winners for the second round.
The first round will last until midnight EDT on Thursday, March 25th. The run-off poll will last until midnight EDT on Sunday, March 28th. (Times are approximate, since I'm forgetful and often lazy.)
A couple of quick notes:
- Don't judge on spelling and punctuation. Judge on the emotion that the haiku inspires in you.
- Discussion is fine, but please do be polite if you offer a critique. These are works of the heart!
- I've decided in my role as arbitrator that the entries listed here are valid. I've been a bit lenient with syllables in some cases, but I can justify all my decisions. So there!
