Haiku Contest: Run-Off Poll
Haiku Contest: Run-Off Poll
Here are the winners of the first round of popular voting in our Hunter Pet Haiku Contest! I've included multiple winners from a few groups based on the total number of votes they received.
The top three winners from this poll will receive excessive applause and laudatory congratulation here and on Mania's Arcania, as well as a special forum title here if they happen to be a member of the forum.
... so ... err ... try not to have too many ties, okay?

Oh, I get to vote for 3? That makes the decision much easier. I initially thought I was going to have to narrow my choice down to only one

Yeah, if I'd been thinking I would have used 3-vote polls for the first round also. Ah, well.Nimizar wrote:Oh, I get to vote for 3? That makes the decision much easier. I initially thought I was going to have to narrow my choice down to only one
Re: Haiku Contest: Run-Off Poll
We have our three winners in the popular vote portion of the Hunter Pet Haiku Contest!
I'm contacting the winners now to get their game names and such, and I'll have a post up on Mania's Arcania shortly.
As you can see by the poll, the three top haiku were quite a bit more popular that the rest of those in the run-off vote. Our winners are clearly Haiku Masters!
But all of the haiku that were submitted -- even those that didn't make it to the run-off poll -- were amazing little gems. I can't tell you how many comments and e-mails I got about this contest, about how all of the entries were better than people imagined they could be. Me, I think there are two reasons for that: First, that we (both here and on the blog) are a wonderful community, and second that we really love our pets.
So thank you, everyone who wrote a haiku, and thank you also everyone who voted. You've made this little contest a huge success.

Hunter pets paper dolls - swimsuit edition! I think Apollyon would look great in a coconut bikini.
