I spent sometime farming for mini pets today. I can't imagine how long it will take without volley. Especially since I'm looking for the Hyacinth Mccaw to go with Aotona, and the Disgusting oozling.

I'm kinda hoping that with the pet pass, we'll see our pets hold better aggro than they do now, when they're totally outgeared. That would help us with multishot.

From what I have read Multi shot is getting boosted to hitting all targets near your main targets.

Ill miss volley but I love seeing them boost Multi-Shot.

Major kick in the face with this. Volley was a PRIME thing that I used when we had packs of mobs in Dungeons and Raids... just the AOE helped to burn things down so much quicker along with Multi =/

Has anyone else watched Totalbiscuits latest Stonecore/Vortex Pinnacle runthrough videos?

Cata instances are freaking loaded with trash packs that require AEing.

It's bullpoo that volley gets removed while these instances seem to require mage/druid AE to clear.

Just because you are used to bomb away the trash, it doesn't mean it's the right way.
Get used to CC and single target damage because that's the way WoW was meant to be played.

And I miss it! I miss going into a 5man and having the tank set kill order and trap requests, chain trapping and LoSing, just generally doing what we hunters are so damn good at.

AoEing trash is boring as hell.

I said it before (in this thread, I think, but I can't be bothered to look back through pages n' pages) , if MS turns out the way they're saying it will (and this tooltip seems to indicate it does) then I'm 100% for this change. I don't like channeling aoe, that's a magicky thing. Leave it to the mages and locks! I am a hunter dammit, let me fire my weapon! A shot that does aoe damage is ideal, in my opinion, and combined with a nice explosive trap in the trap launcher, I'll be giggling as I watch myself demolish the meters.

I knew the PvE aspect would work itself out. xD Multi isn't channeled either, so our BIG AoE damage is instant. That's pretty OP.

Still a bit concerned about rogues, but since Cheap Shot and Kidney Shot will DR each other, it should balance out, hopefully....
