The in-game event Love is in the Air has started. You can read more about this Valentine's-related event on Blizzard's Love is in the Air event page. Apparently this holiday has been completely reworked this year.

Although there are no hunter pets associated with this holiday, there are a couple of vanity pets -- including Peddlefeet and the brand-new Toxic Wasteling -- and a new mount as well: a *cough* Big Love Rocket. And completing the achievements can get you closer to your Violet Proto-Drake, of course.

As I can't play whilst i'm at school, and I'm not going home until next saturday, I'm going to miss some of the event, which sucks, but oh well, that's sod's law.

It's awesome that it got a makeover this year though, I can't wait to play next weekend, and get a shot at the next pet and mount!

Just wanted to check, is the giftwrapping option still available?

This fight can be extremely hard. It might be wise to take two healers. Watch your feet if you're trying it lots of bad things to stand in. Saw the mini pet drop once already so at least its not as rare as the fire festival one.

I did this last night too, it was very very chaotic the 1st time around and lost the tank and a dps but still managed to pull it off in the end,. Once you get used to it however, it gets easier each time.

I reallllllly really would <3 the mini pet toxic wasteling, as I collect mini pets avidly, and would pay ungodly amounts of gold to the winner if they wished to part with it. So far have not seen it drop nor anyone sporting it around town.
As for the rocket, thats a no brainer, <3 <3 <3

The pet WILL be mine. The Disgusting Oozeling is my most favourite minipet ever, and now there is another, that DOESN'T give you a debuff? I'm going EVERY DAY.

I actually rather don't like the change. I feel like they added a bunch of extra work for such a short time.

Hehe, i love rockets, i will be glad to get any rocket, even if its pink and callled "Big Love Rocket". It's sad there is not much time to farm SFK boss for the rocket, and then need to /roll for it.

There's Love Boats that go through the Undercity canal. :3 Hee, I just noticed them today and it's adorable! xD I want to ride with someone.

Aye, the boats are in SW too. However, my modelhack makes them look like small cubes, so when I rode them I'm hovering! It looks hilarious.

On another note, the new boss isn't hard if you do it correctly. I did it successfully before with all 5 DPS.

Also I've done it with only 2 DPS and one healer.

About the boss, hes a cake, not hard to kill him. A good DPS/Tank and healer can do the job.
