The females I'm mostly alright with from what we can see, the only detail I'm concerned with is the jaw/face shape. It looks very...off somehow.

Reimann over on the MMO forums did a good job pinpointing it I think.

Something as subtle as the height of the mouth seems to throw it off.



It's not enough that I'll have a fit over but the changes would be nice. Such a small tweak.

Mm, yeah it's something about the length of the face and the protrusion of the jaw. There's too much of a gap between the nose and the mouth which is elongating the face. That edit does look a bit better even with such a small tweak. It's the only feature that I'm iffy about, and I'm just hoping they're not done polishing them yet, or that it won't look so strange once the model is in motion with animations and emotes.

EDIT: Actually, seeing this edit on the same thread of the male nose makes me realize both of them have that rather large gap there between nose and lips, it's really throwing me off. Now I can't unsee how stubby the male nose looks compared to if they had a longer one.

Ehhh, in that edit, I think the male's nose is WAY too long. That, or the mouth should be moved down just a smidge. I think somewhere in the middle of the two would be perfect.

Overall though, I think they look fantabulous. Time will tell how the various faces look in-game.

Yeah, the person who made the edit admitted he went overboard, but I can see what he was going for and I wouldn't mind a little longer than the original.

I can't help being nitpicky because blood elves are my babies and make up the majority of my characters, but I'm still really happy with the direction they're going so far, I just hope the faces get a couple tweaks.

Really quite happy with them. The changes seem very subtle and carefully made. I wish my Draenei had changed just as subtly.

I'm sorry but I am going against the grain. I don't like them. At all. I know it's EARLY in the model redesign but there are things like how their spine seems to be in a slant type shape (not as bad as Draenei but still) like they have some form of swayback condition, the mouth issues and on the females ............ WTH is with the bubble butt!!!! Her boobs actually seem to almost fit her slim body shape now but they gave her some bubble butt. Again that could be just me but ............. meh. I'll wait and see what happens.

I think they actually said they would too awhile back but I'm not 100% certain...

At any rate it'd be pretty stupid to ignore worgen & goblin forever. Fem worgen obviously need some massive changes... but even goblins which are all around pretty decent look crappy with their sub-par animations and textures next to the new models.

I just hope it isn't years and years before they get done.

The females look much better. They no longer look like anorexic 14 year olds. They actually have a shape now. The butt in particular is far better and they even have hip flare. The males look pretty much the same just with more muscle definition. I still wouldn't play one though. I see nothing wrong with the faces at all.

I have to admit, that does look better. It's a small change, but it does make a difference.

I think the non edited one looks better. I'm in the same boat as I am with female Tauren the Blizzard ones look better then the edits to me.

If they are any thing like the other models any complaints I might of had will go away pretty quickly after playing them for a few hours.

I completely agree with you there. I have no complaints on these updates at all. They look fantastic!

They're not too bad (better than I thought they would be), but I'm always going to HATE the nailpolish with a passion. Just as long as they don't screw these up, I won't have to do a mass exodus to the barber shop when these are released.
