I think you did fine in our attempts the other day. I wouldn't sweat it too much. Perhaps if you were a dps class to just focus on the boss that would be easier?? (not dealing with the stars etc)

I'm leveling up a new hunter for this now too

I'm planning on doing a Uld25 on Sunday night to try and gear up a bit more on my Shaman

Maybe - and I wouldn't be in the thick of the AoE either. I'll have to reconsider dealing with my mage's gear....maybe.

Had fun in the mount runs last night Royi. Also, my DK is coming along nicely. I've found that I do actually earn JP from LK Heroic bosses (still not from Cata dungeon bosses), and the 23 spare JP for random persists through the 7 weekly rewards, so I actually get more JP from LK Heroics, especially factoring how much quicker and easier they are to tank.

So my computer situation: I'm going to be laggy no matter what I do until I replace this comp, since rolling back my driver update didn't help. :/ This will happen soon (tm), but until then, I'm pretty much a liability on these runs. Were this endgame Uld, I'd have to bow out, basically.

I know you don't earn any JP from Cata dungeon bosses themselves, you just recieve the 160 or 170 at the end of the instance for queuing as a random dungeon. Have you checked your log after defeating Ozumat or the one guy in Blackrock Caverns?

I would recommend everyone go to http://www.openraid.us and sign up. There you can actually browse different Herald runs that are out there. There is currently 4 on the boards right now Ally-US, usually theres a new one or two every week or so.

I recieve 18 from the final bosses, making total JP earned 140+18=158, but the chances of running into dumb players, plus low levels and me being only 80 myself makes the JP from Heroic LK dungeons (a little over half of Cata total earned) much more obtainable, and fun for me.

And you have a chance at getting Occulus and then a chance at getting a Blue Drake!!!

Use that link to sign up for the site. I've been able to join a 25 Firelands, 10 man Firelands on my Druid in which we did a couple heroic bosses and I got the fancy Flame-Kitty staff from Fandral

, and a ICC25 man in which I've decided I'm going to start a 1-2 year quest to obtain the Shadowmourne.

There is actually a Herald raid on Saturday at 7CST that is lead by Summerlee (who i've run with before). Time is too early for me but in case anyone would want to join openraid and apply on there. http://openraid.us/r/28938

So, having not played WoW in a while (due to finally getting a video card for D3, as well as being at summer camp), I'd like to know if you guys were still planning on attempting this. If not, I'm likely going to unlock my DK and start levelling him. I've never had multiple cap-level toons, and I'd like to see what I can get done with Evin.

IF, we're still planning on attempting this, that's fine, I'll keep Evin at 80, but just let me know asap.

I'd be more than happy to run this again. I think Kalli was in the process of getting a new computer sometime shortly, but I'm pretty sure tracking down those rares in Beta is taking up much of her time. Worba seems to be stuck with that one D3 game often. And you and your summer camp......

Since I'm familiar with openraid more now, I can always create a raid on there to find the extra 5-6 spots we'll need. I'm going to be moving in a week so that's occupying my time on the recent future, but perhaps something later August later at night could work for some people?

Hey Folks:

Update.

My mage is 78 and climbing and I'm planning on doing Herald as well on her. I'll be working on gearing her up a bit in the next upcoming weeks (hopefully get this done pre-expac) using openraid as a method to get into Ulduar 25 runs. I'll probably hit 80 within the next week pending time and then i'm going to start running random catas / trying to get into Uld pugs again.

I know Kalli has been uber busy with her super amazing wild things tracking guides, and Worba just seems to be stuck in that Diablo world, and I've been incredibly busy recently with moving my family (i've only really been able to play for a little bit here and there early mornings) but hopefully everything will die down within the next week or two for myself.

I have a 80 shaman that I have capped ready for Herald Runs right now, but I would strongly recommend using www.openraid.us (or www.openraid.eu i think is the eu version) for Herald. It was how I was able to get into a group for it.

After panda settles down I'd be happy to revisit leading a run, it was just a bit exhausting trying to gather all the people together (much easier to find a already established run going on)
