Struggling with Deathwing's Spine since the patch?

Hello everyone I was after some advice. I've been struggling to solo the spine on my hunter ever since the removal of spirit bond, even with my SB, exhiliration and turtle aspect I'm still getting slowly brought down by the ads to the point they kill me. My tactics currently are to stand on one side, wait for 9 bloods then bring down a tentacle and start strafing whilst bringing down bloods and the almag. Of course the sheer amount of bloods aren't helping at all so I was wondering if it's possible now to do it by constantly strafing with the almag from the start and killing one blood at a time. I kinda always struggled with the spine, it's my kyptonite and it always sends me into a panic so any help is greatly appreciated .

I've been doing the one blood at a time method every time I've soloed. Hopefully it'll work out better for you!
