Withered Training now actually fun

Unread post by Iowawolf »

For long time I ran this for the chests and big one at the end but now I think I got them all but still run it for big one and found a way to make it more fun what you do is go in there dismiss your pet so just you and the withered then let them run wild. Anything tries and attacks you just send them after it and watch in horror as these shambling fools kill everything including the big bosses while you barely lift a finger. Last time I did it I reached the actual end and had 30+ of them following me makes this less a chore now.

It does get much more fun as you get more powers :) At first it seems like a horrible chore and it's depressing when your withered die so fast, but as long as you open chests as quickly as you can to get the power-ups, it'll get easier every week. Suddenly you realize you can steamroll through it.

I won't lie - I still hate the Withered Training with a passion. Probably because it took me up to 7.2 of multiple characters running it every time it was up to get the Llothien Prowler... and I'm still aware of the Hidden Appearances in there for upcoming alts >.>

I would be much more chill if we knew what fate awaits the Artifact Appearances come 8.0

Yeah I have to agree with this. Being able to "steamroll" doesn't make it more fun - if anything, it got progressively more boring as it went, because there was nothing new to see or do once you cleared the chests, plus also that I had less excuse to skip the endless tedium because of the number of toys dropped by Withered Training plus the mount invitation. Plus the scenario was buggy as hell... withered getting stuck on the environment, boss mobs that didn't spawn, the bugged out voice over that never stopped...

Still not gotten the fox yet but I also became so sick of doing the training that I haven't made many attempts for months. I did it the other day and got to the end and only realized I left out a portion of the scenario after I had ended it. :o
