To help Mania keep up with new mounts news, (and incidentally, her mount website,) I'm gonna log the new info here.

Changes for 01/05/2010

I like to dig and find and snoop and screw around with different mount models, so if there's news to be had, I'll find it and you'll hear about it!

Aye we did Oculus today (4 guildies and 1 non-guild friend).. didn't really know what this epic bag was that we didn't need to roll on.

Then we realised (after manually rolling for the winner) that everyone got one.
Our non-guild friend got a blue drake. Beginners luck huh?

Definately another reason to complete Oculus - not that I've ever dropped out of a random dungeon due to not wanting to do that dungeon. Takes long enough to form a group than to waste more time looking for a 6th player!

Personally I like the white hippogryph, or any of my lovely netherdrakes.

Actually, the drop chance for the blue dragon in a bag is 20%, or 1 in 5. So there's a healthy chance that for every group, at least one person in the group could possibly get a drake. I have one! Now, I need that armored one.

Everytime I do a random dungeon, I always hope it's Occ. XD I never hated it in the first place. It was simple and quick. I don't understand all the hatred for it even after it was nerfed.

ON TOPIC NOW. I can't vote. :< I'd vote for the Ashes... That phoenix is just too beautiful.

I enjoy Occ mostly. Don't know why some people freak out over it.

Even now it's even easier than before, and it dropping a mount? I really hope I get it for my random soon, heh.

I wanted to vote for a proto-drake, but I can't vote... proto-drakes are just so pretty... only one of my characters has one, sadly. Seen the blue drop twice I think, lost both rolls. Not even close to getting the red, never seen the time lost... LOL at the idea of the ulduar ones... been trying for the green since about a few weeks after Wrath came out, stopped a month or two ago out of loss of hope...

Unfortunately this is a problem with the theme I installed -- it hasn't been updated for the latest version of phpBB yet. I'm going to have to update it by hand, or switch back to the default theme and re-do my feed changes.

I've just unceremoniously dumped everyone into a new theme. It means that some of the locations for links (like the User Control Panel to set your preferences) have moved around. Sorry about that.

On the other hand, polls should now work!

I'll start working on a nice-looking custom theme for us soon.

Heh! No pink flamingo this time. Although I'm still proud of the Arcania theme, I need something more ... green ... for Petopia.

Not a terrible idea, unless I want to have a theme finished sometime in 2010.

The white here? I often have that trouble with white, so if you give me some more details I'll try to avoid it for our permanent theme.

You could always go with a forest-y leafy green background, in a faded way. That way it would match with Petopia, but still represent the habitat a lot of our pets come from.
