I'm bored out of my brains so it's time for something completely random and I'm curious as to what sort of responses this might generate to give everyone a chuckle...

The opposite beast to cat is dog,
The opposite beast to shark is dolphin,

etc etc etc

so what would you say to these?

The opposite to Gorilla is ...
The opposite to Eagle is ...
The opposite to T-Rex is ...
The opposite to Sheep is ...
The opposite to Sloth is...

Oh hmmm, I don't have something for all of 'em, but since I was thinking WoW until I got to the sloth I'll say what came to mind:
The opposite to Gorilla is ...
The opposite to Eagle is ... spiky raptor
(in my mind it's something to do with being earthen rather than air, and spiky/leathery instead of soft and feathery)
The opposite to T-Rex is ...
The opposite to Sheep is ... Sambas (duh! ;))
The opposite to Sloth is...

Saurolophus went extinct 68 Million Years Ago, while Tyrannosaurus Rex evolved 67 Million Years Ago. Seeing as both live 1 Million Years apart, they would have never met and are thus not opposites.

What could be a herbivorous opposite of T-rex is Anatotitan, a large hadrosaur that evolved in a million years after Tyrannosaurus and was hunted by it. However, I am still going to have to say Tyrannosaurus Bataar is the opposite of Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Not to be rude but ... who cares if they didn't existed around the same time!?

The OP asked what opposites came to mind when we thought of some specific animals. When I think of a T-Rex I think of a bipedal carnivorous dinosaur. So I imagined a bipedal non-carnivorous dinosaur to oppose it. Land Before Time popped into my head and I thought of the character Ducky. Simple as that.

I don't claim to be any sort of expert on dinosaurs so I'm just going to take your word on the whole Tyrannosaurus Bataar thing. But honestly, this post is just a game. Something to contribute to for fun. Pointing out such trivial matters on the subject is unnecessary under these circumstances imo.
