Upcoming TCG Mounts: The Awesomeness and The Wooliness

Unread post by Arwyn »

Stated by WoWTCG.com, the two newest TCG loot mounts will be making their appearances in the upcoming Wrathgate and Icecrown Expansions with the Blazing Hippogryph being found in Wrathgate and the Wooly White Rhino, or as I'm calling him the better looking Lunchbox, being found in the Icecrown expansion.

From the Awesomeness that Radiates outta of the latest hippogryph model, I'm betting that once released some dealer will promply put it up on Ebay for $400.00 plus.

While the magestic Wooliness of the White Rhino, that honestly is just a common in-game rhino with a saddle plopped on its back, will probably go for around $100.00 plus.

It's a shame I'm not rich, because I would love to have that hippogryph. But I simply refuse to spend hundreds of dollars on something like that.

Oh well, guess I'll just have to live with my "common" mounts. *pats Onyxien*

I had a thin hope that the Hippogryph may have been sold on the Blizzard store because I absolutely love it. Darn. I think $50 would be my absolute maximum amount I could spend on an in-game mount.

Yurp.

The hippogryph will be the newest money status symbol in the game. So expect to be seeing them hovering over the well in Dalaran.

At least link to Warcraft Mounts! :D

I actually quite like the rhino, but the hippogryph turns me off. Perhaps it's because the model name is 'burnt hippogryph' ...

I'm pretty sure that 'extra crispy' would be breaded, so ... tan and lumpy.

I do really like the rhino as well, but I'm a bit of a hippogryph fan so I'd love to have the Blazing. It's ok, I don't need it. Come on Blizz, give us some more Blizz Store mounts! /nod :D

Hehe.

Oh..and to bask in more of the Glorious, Awesome Radiance that is the burnt..err Blazing Hippogryph there's a lovely pic at Warcraft Mounts.

Hmm..since her tail feathers are a bright flaming orange they'll probably be a trail of flames following behind her as she carries some lucky person around.

Am I the only one happy that this is a TCG mount? For example, I hate that sparklehorse. The main reason? That it's so common, and people think it makes them "special". If that ugly horse was a TCG mount it would be a lot less common, even rare, and that would make it so much more attractive in my eyes. That these mounts are TCG mounts sounds good to me, since that means they'll be rare and a lot less common. Seeing that sparklehorse on it's releasedate in Dala was horrible. About twenty horses, and when I stood afk, someone decided to stand opposite me, and whisper "haha bet u r jealous XD". FYI, I wasn't. I'll be jealous of people with the hippogryph and the rhino, since those will be rare and harder to get. I mean, that ugly horse is more common than the chocobos and kodos together. It's not special in any way.

I also exist on DeviantArt.

*shrug* I like common. I like common because I can have common, and me having something is more important to me than you not having something. But everyone is different.
