(EDIT) updating the first post now that some stuff has changed. this was originally a thread I made asking the petopians for help in finding a guild with the jade serpent pet/mount and I along with many others have found such a guild thanks to Wain and Leorina. Leorina has agreed to let us continue to join her guild so I will just add whatever info my fellow petopians may need to help anyone who is interested in obtaining the mount among other things.

All pets, mounts and heirlooms have been unlocked. Leorina has agreed to let petopians join so they can obtain their mounts and they are of course welcome to stay if they like it there.

Destruction was originally a top end raiding guild that was burning through current content and heroic bosses during end game cata and most of Mop. Unfortunately a mix of stress and real world problems eventually made most of the guild split up. there are still a few members that log on now and then and the guild is still near and dear to their hearts. due to the time zones most of the original members are online when the rest or us are going to bed so you may not see them often but they are there.

About the server:
its a low pop pve server that presents a great farming opportunity for players originally from Us servers. while the server sleeps you can find lots or rare pets up (maybe even a rare mount or two) and crafting mats left unclaimed. you can still mail any account bound items to this server even if your main server is US. just use playername-Aman'thul when you mail it.
The only real setback to this not being a US server is that US characters can not party up and be phased over to Aman'thul for something like a rare spawn.

jade serpent mount requirements:
you must be exalted with the guild
you must have 280% flying
you must be level 85
it cost 2,700 gold to buy
cloud serpent riding is required for your character to ride it but you can still learn the mount regardless.
this mount will NOT be vanishing in WOD.

thundering serpent battle pet requirements
As far as I know the pet can be obtained at any level.
requires Rev with guild
cost 300g without discounts.
THIS PET WILL NO LONGER BE OBTAINABLE FOR GUILDS DO NOT HAVE IT YET! with mop CMs on their way out in a few weeks, this pet will soon be impossible for guilds to obtain since you need a full set of gold achievements obtained by a guild group to unlock it. There is no conformation that guild who have earned it will continue to sell it in wod seeing as the pet seems to be missing from the stores in beta so if you want the pet best grab it now just to be safe.


gold tips:
You should be close to having enough gold for the mount by the time you hit 85. I highly recommend taking on some gathering proffs since the materials are usually undisputed and sell well. stolen reputation coins from warbringers can also be mailed over for a reasonable amount of gold. A popular money making choice that many players are using is collecting pets on their mains and selling them on aman'thul. (also timeless isle gear can still be mailed over if you want to go all the way to 90 )

a few minor preferences, not a big deal if they cant be met:
US server
preferably not pvp but I could manage if I have to.
faction isn't a big deal but all my 90s are ally so I would be able to help out more alliance players through cross realm. I am fine with playing horde though so either side will work for me.
I am also looking for the jade hatchling so if you have that its a bonus but otherwise not a big deal.
I would be grateful for any help I could get. my Btag is Kyro#1916.

I have a toon in an Alliance guild on Aman'thul (Oceanic / US, NON PvP) which has both mount and pet. In fact it seems to be the only guild on the server which has the mount, at least according to a search I did at the time The guild seems to have once been a top raiding guild, but everyone left. It took me a week of watching just to find someone who could invite me in. Since then I've gotten several friends to join to get the mount as well. The remaining GMs seem to be happy to invite anyone I ask (though sadly I don't have the rank to do that myself).

I'm more than happy to get you in, but you would have to start an alt there, and then be patient as it could take quite a few days before I can find someone to invite you (or it could take 5 mins!). I suppose you could start a DK and work on it while you wait to get in.

Anyway, the offer is there as an option, in case you can't get a faster one

If Sylvia wants company, I wouldn't mind creating a hunter on that server too.... if the guild would have me?

I've almost only played Horde, and quite honestly, it's TIME that I got to know the Alliance side a bit better.
And a mount and a pet wouldn't hurt.

I'd probably create a Worgen hunter (or two, since I like to dual-box).

Thank you Wain that sounds perfect I would love to join! I was thinking of making a DK but maybe I will make a lvl 1 with sukurachi. I will have to wait and see what strikes my fancy. Sometimes I wonder if the dk starting zone is worth those extra free levels >.< I guess I will just start one of each and see who I like.
if you could just add my b.tag and let me know if you see him come online so I wont miss him if I'm on my main, that would be great. (just please leave me a note saying who you are on b.tag since OQ has been a bit buggy with their adding and removal of oq friends.)

Hmmm tempted to make a toon there again as well.

I've created two toons, Worgen hunters, on the server, Sukurachitu and Choanikitu.
I'm not sure how I'd go about letting you know what my battletag is (I don't even know if I have one yet).

go to bnet and check your account info. on the upper left hand side there will be a list of account details. your b.tag will be the third item on the list if you have it. if you don't it will probably tell you to make a tag.

edit. made a hunter named DrakeStone and a dk named Zamies. looks like i'm going to have a lot of company. o.0

To find your battle tag open your battle.net thingy and at the top right you will see you tag name, mouse over it and it should pop up with the reset of your tag I too am interested in this, my battle tag is Rin#1133 I'll make a hunter

so my battletags would be a name, a pound sign and a number?

is that the sort of info it's ok to share here?

You can share if you want, just tell people you are if you add them

yes that's what your b.tag should look like. you can share it here if you want to or in game if you want more privacy. its not a big deal since you can choose to accept, decline and remove friend requests. also addons like OQ use it a lot anyway. I already shared my tag in my first post and many petopians share tags for rare camping and stuff.

I will add your toons to my friends list one I hop back over. i'm farming some stuff on my main atm.

and my two characters' names aren't all that original... my mains Horde side are called "Sukurachi" and "Choaniki"... these two new guys are called "Sukurachitu" and "Choanikitu" (as in "also").

But my GOD I love that Worgen starter zone!!!!!

I love the worgen zone too. I am a sucker for Victorian stuff. even the music there is good. I really wish they had been given their own city so I could set my home there.
