Regarding the Mysterious Camel Figurines

So with 8.0 and possibly even earlier (I saw nothing here about it so I thought I'd share)...., Blizzard has changed how showing friendly nameplates works. Now only friendly PLAYER nameplates will show if we turn them on....not NPC's.
What does this mean? Well, our little camel figurines no longer show the big obvious nameplate if you get near em, anymore....making them rather hard to spot for people that don't use add-ons (like me) because they are still very teeny.
But, there's a script you can slap into a macro to fix this!
Type this in exactly as you see it while Friendly nameplates are turned on:
/run SetCVar("nameplateShowFriendlyNPCs",1)
This will PERMANENTLY restore the original friendly nameplates for you. Note that this is NOT account wide...you need to do this for each character.
If you wish to turn it off, replace the 1 with a 0.
Hope this helps!
