Bone raptors really make me wonder where they would even come from and how they would be obtained. Archeology? The fact that a plain model exists also has me wondering if that would become tameable or not. The armored phoenix has me really excited. The purple one itself could be a nice mount but the armored one looks really amazing to me. I had read that mounts would be part of the rewards coming from leveling up your guild reputation, maybe a pheonix would be worthy of that? If not perhaps it's another raid reward.

So they're actually obtainable, woo! I'm a huge raptor mount fan and as most of my toons are Alliance, I don't have all that much to choose from... Let's just hope those will be available to both factions.
Bone raptors I might get just to add to the mount collection. Giant, Purple Flying bird will probably become a drop from some boss on heroic mode. Now if it can be gotten in a regular heroic, like the Blue Proto Drake, I'd try to get it to add to the collection. But if it only drops from being in a Raid I'll pass.
hmm i could see the raptors being a dk type of things since the have the skele flyin mount.. who knows would be cool if anyone could obtain them. i want a phoenix SOO bad, i love phoenix's

yeah the bone raptor makes sence to be a reward from Archeology it would not really fit in anywere else! Maybe bone drakes (not frost wryms) or devilsaurs too? i'd love that.

I hope for some kind of bone Archaeopteryx as archeology flying mount. That'd make sense, and we've already got Pterrordax in Ungoro, so... they do exist in WoW universe.
