Was having a shit weekend personal issue wise but then...I got my first LFR drop pet! The Gooey Shaling!! I so wanted this little bugger and so glad it dropped for me...brightened me up no end!

My god my luck this week!! After nothing all xpac 2 pets in a week!! Tonight i got the Blackfuse Bombling (along with 3 rare tames!). I am one happy little hunter

I farmed gold with selling herbs like a maniac during the last days. The reason is my new cutie: Dejaal, the spectral tiger kitten. I had seen prices go down and down on my server from 100k to 80k from there to 60 and recently as low as 33k. That's when I started farming. Now I was at 22k and I saw it for 27,9k. I had to have it. My husband gave me the missing rest of the gold and I bought him.

It looks so shiny I had no idea it glowed like that!!!

The orbs on his belly flicker and he is always close to the ground (no fly) he also has a very angry sound when you click on him, he hisses at you. He is rather cool with a more fluid "swim" movement than the mana wyrms and yes he is VERY bright in dark places

So I'll just say this; thanks to someone who wanted to transfer gold to my server, I was able to get a bunch of pets cheaper than they would have been on my realm's AH.

So finally; 680!

Busy week. First I fished like 30 lunkers, much of them in Poundfist camping groups (I got him too!), and I bought a sea calf. I tracked down Sapphire Firefly and Crimsonwing Moth, the moth was harder to find (finding a good path worked better for me than realm hopping). I like the spawning method blizz uses for them though. And I bought a corrupted nest guardian (and then one dropped for my guild). I also got a TCG pet in exchange for crafting a 705 weapon, but I don't like it so I'm going to try to find a different one I can trade it for.

And finally, I got the 2000 pet battle monument today.

Eee, I beat the Celestial Tournament!

I'd been putting off leveling a team for ages, yet slowly but surely I made my way there and tonight was my first attempt. It was so nervewracking but it ended up being a complete success with no troubles at all! I picked Chi-Chi as my first companion. :>

Farmed up enough commissions to buy the Sumprush Rodent crate, and figured it'd be a waste if I just did it for myself. So I posted on reddit and warcraftpets forum ahead of time, and about 30 people turned up!

One of them was very generous, and gave me a few things to say thanks - codes for a Blizzcon Virtual ticket (including Murkidan!), Cinder Kitten and Lil' Ragnaros!

I finally hit the halfway mark on leveling all of my 720 unique pets to 25. I actually have 735 pets, but 15 of them cannot battle. Even though I still have a long way to go, it still feels like an accomplishment when I consider how time consuming it has been.

Was working on Archy and got the Nest Guardian and the Frostwolf Ghostpup! It's so cute! Then I read the description...

Don't have any photos at the moment, but I recently added Stormwing, Living Sandling, Fragment of Anger and K'ute to my collection. I'm definitely not as obsessive with battle pets as I am mounts, but it's still fun and it gives me something else to collect.

Earlier in the year I finally maxed all of my pets out to level 25 and got them all to rare quality. I just finished 250 PvP pet battles tonight to get the Stunted Direhorn. I am at 749 pets and I am only missing the most recent Starcraft Digital deluxe pet and the upcoming Overwatch Origins Edition pet to complete my collection. Those PvP battles nearly did me in, but I am glad I persevered!

All my battle pets are now 25 rares! (except for a few duplicates) Having the pet battle bonus XP this week really helped me finish tidying them up.

Now I can focus on Family Familiar!
