Spectral Cub

So I was looking in my mini-pet tab and noticed that the Spectral Cub (not the Spectral Tiger Cub that comes from the trading card game) information says it comes from the Blizzard Store, but I have never seen it for sail. Did I miss it or has it not been for sale yet?

It's been in the database for a while but is not in the game. It's an identical model to the TCG one, but so far nobody has actually confirmed when and where it'll appear. Since the pet tab says that it's a store item it does seem likely that'll be the source, but it could also be an artefact of data copying. They probably wouldn't release it too soon as they won't want to distract from the fire kitty. But who knows?

dammit, I've wanted a spectral kitten to go with my Spirit Beast hunter pets for ages.

the closest I've come to something "spectral" is the Phoenix Hatchling, but it's entirely the wrong colour.

this kitty would have been perfect.

Not that specific one, but you'll still be able to get the TCG cub, which looks identical.

I really hate that. :< I don't think it's fair they always get the cool promos. US never gets squat like that. I know, I know. I'm probably whining but there's A LOT of cool China Promo pets that none of us will ever ever get.

Bugger. Ah well, thanks for finding that out Gorm. It would be nice if a version of the spectral cub was available to players who can't afford a fairly expensive TCG pet.

I guess we get some cool things in the Blizzard store that they may not get access to on Asian realms, but I could be wrong there.
