"Gifting" of Blizz Store items is gone?

It seems that either Blizzard has entirely removed it, or they have very cleverly camouflaged it, but I cannot, for the life of me, find the option of "gifting" a mini-pet bought through the Blizzard Store.

I know I've done it before, since I bought the pets and mounts on my husband's account. And I had bought some pets for a member of Petopia a while back.

Someone from Tech Support actually had to go and transfer the mount and pets I had purchased to my husband's account today.

This is VERY odd.

Add to this, the Blizzard store seems to have an issue mailing Authenticators that cover Canada TO Canada.

So when you make a purchase it goes straight to your account or do you get the code listed that you could give for the item?

it used to be there was a checkbox for gifting items.

now they send you an email with the codes... except when my hubby tried to use a code to redeem a pet, it refused to work.

the code redemption process seems to be pretty buggy.

Could try sending them a notice. :\ If it's an unannounced change, that'd be pretty awful.

Seems like an unwanted thing for me. My husband and me are on EU and he gave me the bloodwing mount with a code. I had an email to redeem it and worked just fine. So this was only a few weeks ago.

Isn't it on the redemption page after you complete the purchase? It'd be the page after you've paid. There is, or at least used to be, options to apply the purchase to your account or to send it to someone else.

The last thing I gifted from the store was the cinder kitten, so it may have changed since then. Still, I seem to recall the option to gift when I recently purchased the new bloodwing mount.

Yeah, I got the option to gift when I bought the Bloodwing too. It just sounds like a glitch; you should call them.

I was able to gift the tree minipet to my fiance no problem. So it's still there.

When you buy it you get an option to gift it after, which basically means you send the code via email to the person. At least that's what happened when i "gifted" a battlechest to myself last sale.

ok, well, glad to know it was just a temporary problem somehow due to my particular order. it would seem that the Blizz store doesn't like mixing physical object sales with virtual object sales (I was ordering a couple Authenticators along with mounts and pets for all my accounts).
