Just a heads-up that a guild on Durotan-Ysera (US) has very generously opened up their membership to newcomers who are only after the Deathwatch Hatchling minipet. This is the black version of the ravager which is available to guilds after completing the guild gold challenge mode achievement.
Membership is free, no strings attached.

The pet costs 300 gold and you must be Revered with the guild in order to purchase it. One thing to consider is that if you move a character that is already Exalted with their current guild then they'll be revered with the new one at the moment of joining. Another is that if you decide to start a new character then a rather easy way to get gold to your character is to simply have them crate and auction pets on the new server. If you manage to sell just a single pet for 1k then you'll have enough gold for three of the hatchling!
