Shadowclaw

I have had a hunter camped at his spawn point for several days now and have yet to see him spawn. Wondering if anyothers have seen him spawn. Lots of Moonstalkers in the area and there are quests to kill the Moonstalkers. But I did notice that the quest givers are standing where in live is a turn around point in Shadowclaw's patrol path.

Thoughts?

I've done a little camping in the area, although not nearly as much as you, Jolyroger. I'm beginning to wonder if they stripped all the rares out of Darkshore.

Although ... there's only the two, aren't there? But I don't see why they felt they needed to remove the Strider Clutchmother - her area wasn't affected all that much.

No one has seen Shadowclaw on beta as far as I know; he wasn't on the spreadsheet.

I don't understand him disappearing at all. At least with the Clutchmother, it's a question of most of the zone's tallstriders being wiped out.

No worries! I hate to be a cynic, but when there's been that many posts in the wrong forum, I have to ask, just in case! <3

I like to think that Fleetfoot is one of the Clutchmother's babies. The next generation survives! But on principle, I'm unhappy that she herself didn't survive, much like I'm distressed that Chatter seems to have amnesia (but DID survive). They're rare spawns. They know how to survive under the most dire of circumstances. These are the survivors of their species. Deathwing should be no different.

Chatter seems to be gone, but there is a single mysterious Brown Tarantula in Redridge that we have decided is Chatter with amnesia. x)

Ah - that spider! I know exactly which one you mean. I bug report him every time I go by - he annoys me.

I can't say for sure anymore but I'm almost certain NPCscan triggered for me in Darkshore for Shadowclaw when I was roaming around, right up where she should have been. This is unfortunately only a 'maybe', I don't clearly remember.

Are you bug reporting him as "this should be Chatter" or "wtf is this spider doing here?" (Or both!)

Bit of a tangent, but...

I know it's late in beta, and most things have been discovered, but how does one get access to this spreadsheet? There's probably a few things I could add, and it would give me some direction when I'm just randomly wandering around.

Things with a green background are things that I am especially interested in getting more info on right now - mostly rares and spawned pets.

If you have a Google account, I can give you permission to edit it directly - but since we have the vast majority of info pinned more or less down, now, it may just be easier to PM me anything you see. I don't mind giving you access if that's what you prefer, though.

I have been using NPC scan, so far no pops. I will keep checking. I have a lvl 85 version of Joly (though he found he got furrier after a fitful sleep) that I can look for stuff elsewhere.

Shadowclaw is on the spreadsheet, that is what triggered me to look for it as on live I tamed it the other day. Shadowclaw was the second rare Joly tamed while leveling. Duskstalker was the first. I was going to dump Shadowclaw, but since it may have been removed, I must keep.

He's on the spreadsheet because all pets are on the spreadsheet, but he's never been spotted on the beta (which you can see by looking at the columns more to the right). Speculation is that he's gone. You've certainly been putting in your time looking for him, so this unfortunately does seem likely. :/

*sighs and hopes that the lone spider does officially become Chatter* The longer the beta goes on, the more certain I am that he, Shadowclaw, and others of their kind aren't there.

I just verified that Shadowclaw DOES still exist. Lvl 13. Just NNW of the big rock formation that it used to circle. Sorry, don't have a mod that gives coords. But I do have a screenie.
