For the PTR People: Timber

Unread post by Rikaku »

So I have another pet related question for our PTR testers (love ya!)

Timber, the old lvl 10 rare white worg from Dun Morogh.

1) Is he back in-game?
2) For those who already tamed him: Does he have a new skin (aka like Olm the Wise got a facelift?)

Ok it was questions, but if anyone knows I'd love to hear it!

Timber was spotted, he exists again and is still his white-worg self. :)

From the screenshots that the PTR testers posted, I think that Timber's wolf pack didn't fare so well. Someone needs a new family!

He's surrounded by non-aggressive wolves still, but he doesn't have two that path with him anymore.

Timber was a hard solo tame back at level 10 or so. They should bring back his pack. Who cares about the baby gnomes? They can't be hunters anyway.

Tell me about it.

Still, I'm thinking that the blasted gnomes killed off Timber's pack, and the poor thing had to go into hiding to survive.

There is a mysterious lone Greater Tarantula in the southern area of Redridge that for a long time we hoped was Chatter in disguise. It's such a random creature since there are no other brown tarantulas in the entire zone, and he's wandering around with the orcs. Kalli and I in particular held fast to our assumption that he was Chatter when the rare mob himself was MIA. Now that Chatter's back we dubbed the other one Chitter.

Aha! I gotcha, now. :D Maybe just a spawn that had been forgotten. But either way, your *real* Chatter is back. ^^

*snuggles RealChatter* Yes he is! :D

The most mysterious thing about "Chitter" is that there were never any brown tarantulas in that part of the zone before, so it's extremely odd that he's in that part of the zone, let alone at all, especially since he turned out to NOT be Chatter.

And no eating! Veph actually gave my little blood elf hunter a lift over to Chitter so I could tame him on her. ;) So now I have both! :D

:D

He sure is! And he's really really big. ;) So even though he's level 5, he's the only aggressive wolf amongst all the little non-aggressive wolves, which is still undoubtedly a bit terrifying for lowbies. ^_^

Which I think is awesome. Lowbies need a bit of terror. :D I know I like it when I'm low.
