I take offense to this! I LOVE Varian... But granted, I also love Thrall, the Bronzebeard Brothers, Illidan, and just about every other majorly lore intensive character within WoW... I just love lore in general... :mrgreen:

Unsure if I will keep the spider and serpent and might change some names. Also hoping Death Ravager's skin will become tameable. *crosses fingers*

Updates. Some pets have gotten new skins, some are new additions. I think I'm finally happy with my collection now.

Was very hard to choose. All the new skins are so pretty!

Heh, I tend to love lore as well. But I also appreciate characters with political views that differ from the mainstream, so having a monkey named after the human king and leader of the Alliance is sort of his way of making a political statement.

The fact that most of his friends are Night Elves with similar views on the current leadership of the Alliance might have something to do with that as well

I can't see him bringing that pet out for RP in Stormwind though... some things are just a little too brash :mrgreen:

Currently have and might keep:
Ghamoo-ra, Firefly (green), Tyrant Devilsaur, Raptor (red), The Beast, Ghost Worm, Barking Wolf, Pitch, Shadowclaw, Broken Tooth, Azzere the Skyblade, Araga

Will be Hunting for in Cata: Terrorpene, Chromaggus, any Gold Sabers

Might hunt for in Cata: Ghost Crawler, Karoma, Sambas, White Worm

The wolf is oil stained and named BPcares :p

When cata comes ill' be taming a few new families, and getting some different skins, mainly terrorpene, and a different worm colour. Also Chromaggus ofcourse

Spent a little time re-evaluating things and came up with a revised list. Also decided to shine up the graphic element a little.

Black means the pet is already tamed.
Blue means I am re-taming this pet to change its look.
Purple means this pet's skin is changing for Cataclysm.
Orange means this pet will be tamable in 4.03a (although the croc might be a hard find).
Red means this pet requires the actual expansion before I can tame it.

I think I have my final roundup for current content. I had to release some to make room for a few upcoming tames.

Current pets:

Cats: Shy and Sian-Rotam; a red lynx from Eversong.

Wolves: Snarler, Mist Howler, Oil-Stained Wolf.

Spiders: Terrokarantula, Zarakh, Rekk'tilac.

Exotics: Nuramoc, Skoll, The Beast, Loque'nahak, Tyrantus; a Shardhorn Rhino from Sholazar.

Others: Netherskate; Gezzarak; Dire Raven; Aotona; Gutripper; Rotting Agam'ar.

To tame in Cata: Ghost Wolf; a color-changing Fox; Sambas; Shale Spider; Terropene.

That just puts me over the limit... I'll have to choose when it comes to the last one.

Here's a few updates to my last post.

Synevite is now the Green Jormungar skin. I tried the black one for a while but felt that it didn't really suit him. The green one is much closer to how I feel he should look. Plus, the white crest adds a lot of personality.

Decided to tame a Silithid Swarmer before the conversion, so Myumelzee is now a Tan Ant. I'll probably keep him this way unless ants become tameable -- in which case I'll make him a boss tank like I originally planned.

Tested the wasp and decided it wasn't for me. Another spot is now open in my stables.

I'm still in the process so there are a lot of things that may change.

YAAAAY a whole one free emergency slot ~~!!

1st row - my most common active 'hand'. I'm not sure about what quilen skin I'll take and how I'll name him, but I'm 100% sure I'm getting one!
2nd - the ones getting shuffled into my 'hand' every now and then.
3rd - the ones that I share most memories with. My spawning bear, my forever-one-and-only turtle, my levelling cats, and my sambas. I don't use or plan to use any of those anymore, but touch them and... >:|
4th and 5th - mostly tamed for the sake of taming, some used before, all quite unlikely to be used again. Still, I doubt I'll ever bring myself to releasing any of them.

My Current Stable on live. I know I want a Quilen and Savage, the white Siberian Tiger. Maybe a Crane as well but I don't know which ones will have to get the Axe :cry:

I sure hope they give us a bigger Stable.

If you can't read them, the Spirit Beasts are: Owl--Isilfion, Bear---Polaris, Crab--Nerfbat, Blue Tiger--Magira, and the Purple Tiger---Shadowfang.

I think ShereKhan will be replaced by Savage and the two others most likely to go would be Aotona and Beetlejuse. I think I would like Bloodtooth to match the Red Dragon Turtle Mount and I really think I prefer the regular Red Quilen model to any of the others, including all of Portent's variations. Moonfire has been with me since level 14 almost 7 years ago and I could never think of abandoning him. I chose him back when Cats had different running and attack speeds and I used Petopia to make my choice. It's probably my most essential Hunter tool. Now, when new Spirit Beasts come out, I have no idea what I'll do.

Current stables. I try to keep one slot available in case I end up falling in love on the spot, I won't need to consider which pet to abandon in order to tame a new one. I'm trying to dust off some of these that just sit in the stables, but Cash (my oil worg) is my buddy, always by my side (unless I run an arena that is...)
