Devilsaur Colour Not Listed On Petopia

So I finally made it over to the Isle of Giants and got my tome today, and I noticed something kinda interesting! On petopia, we only have a "light gold" devilsaur listed as the lightest possible colour. I'm assuming that's this guy.



I was heading back to the flight path when I stumbled upon these guys, who don't seem to be on petopia!



I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, so I went and took screenshots of each group. (Note: I switched devilsaurs while doing this, sorry.)





Sorry if this has already been pointed out. ;;;; I'm probably just way behind the times, I'm sure you guys have already noticed this! I didn't see a thread about it, however....

On another note, one of these was supposed to replace Lorcan, my original white devilsaur! They both match my belf'ed-Dona really nicely, and they both fit Lorcan really well... So for now I guess I have two Lorcans. :/

Are you guys sure? I'm fairly certain I saw a green devilsaur, as well. I'll go back and see if I can find it again. (Maybe we should change the names on petopia, though? That's super misleading, if that's correct.)

EDIT: Okay, if there WAS a green one, I can't find it again. However, maybe we should try and find a way to get more accurate colours? I know that colours can look different in the model viewer and in game, but I've never seen a change that drastic. They don't really look like the same thing at all... :/

The lighting in MoP is a bit more extreme than previous. Lots of heavy contrast and saturation. So the colours of things can look wildly different depending on the zone. They're definitely all there, though. The only devilsaur missing is this guy:



He's a slightly different blue to the in-game one. Less black. The skin was actually removed from the database during the PTR, but I kept a copy

That reminds me! The answer is probably 'yes, I did already', but did you already mention that to Noah? Along with the case of the two Direhorn colors that were changed? It would be sweet to just have those extra colors in the game somewhere. Like the difference between a white tiger and Savage!

I'm still pretty sad about that blue being removed/changed, I was so pretty.
It really just looks like they put a drab/dull black filter over the top, making it look nothing like I was supposed to... especially when you look at the teeth and eyes...

Yeah, I mentioned it. That one, and the two removed direhorn colours (the original blue and original green, which I think were both prettier), are all on the unavailable skins list, which he uses. Or at least has used in the past... I haven't heard from him in a few months so I have no idea what he's up to atm. Maybe 6.0?

Yeah, when you compare them it really does look like a very simple "just darken the whole image" change. It looks kinda slapdash.

The two direhorn colour changes were a bit different. Both were changed from light to very strong colours. The blue, especially, looks more artificial and painted now, much like Galakras.

As an aside, the original purple skyscreamer had light stripes instead of dark and that skin was removed as well, but I kept a copy and it's included on the untameable families list

the only green devilsaur is - King Krush from sholazar basin. its all i can think of.
