In addition to hawkstriders, I think the tallstrider family could stand the flightless thunder isle birds too. Tallstriders are one of a handful of families that don't have artwork more recent than vanilla, and even though hawkstriders are from before the LK art bump, they look pretty awesome. Blizz wouldn't even have to come up with a new family name (terrorbird could work if they did) because there's nothing about the word "Tallstrider" that has to imply a plucked chicken.
