Been waiting days for this fella, I think im giving up for now due to attitudes in my CRZ hunter community, people throwing traps, saw one guy shoot him during someones tame. Just removing myself for now from the stress of it. People really suck sometimes.

As per the wowhead posts I checked from 20-24hr, then again 31-36hr, spawned at the tail end of the 36hr mark. Some folks say it's from 26-32hr, but I didn't stick around after 1/2 past 24hr mark, so I am ''assuming'' it was roughly 36hr on the spawn timer.

Ysera - Horde: respawn for 20-24hr 10p-2a tonight into tomorrow, & 36hr 12p noon tomorrow (times are pacific).

Going to wait to tame on my alliance, Everquest themed, & I cannot think of any name for Trigore except maybe FenninRo...

You guys will get him! Most folks are rather considerate even opposing factions: see someone camping they wave, or greet, & just hang out.

Oh, regarding ''where'' he spawns I see everyone facing the big open water area but he spawns between the rock & the other usual camp area like I have shown in my screenie.

31hrs in on my alliance hunter with 2hrs sleep, 2hrs of which he probably spawned..., had at most four people at a time including myself... 24hrs after the time I napped he spawned finally 547a sunday, so glad this is over for now. Yeesh

I just tamed this bad boy on Khadgar. Got him at about 2:05 AM. It seems that 2:00 am to 3:00 am seems to be a very popular time for this guy to spawn

For anyone interested on the exact spot he spawns and best position. If you stand on the rock in the middle of water and face he instance entrance he will spawn just right of the rock.

I just tamed this hydra on Argent Dawn after camping for a few days on and off - around 8:30 pm EST. Start the countdown for the next one!

Just had it spawn on Shadowsong US, and I was all by myself. Mid-tame though, some low level hunter phases in (logs in?) and shoots it to take aggro. I can't do the same thing because I'm 90. The moment I went to call them out on that, they had already had me on ignore. I so wanted to kill it right then and there because they did not deserve it at all, but by the time I processed what had happened, I had already lost the chance because it was tamed. To add insult to injury, they named it after a stupid pony or some nonsense.

I quit. Not worth the wait anymore.

I'm so sorry to hear that!! I had gone afk last night for FIVE MINUTES and during that time it spawned, I came back and there he was floating in the water DEAD next to me.
Keep trying! I know I am! At least you know when to check back for the next spawn time!

You MUST have the stopattack after though or you will one shot *if it was Trigore*, otherwise this macro will distract your target on to you without killing it, wish you guys much luck & hopefully less camping than I had in getting Trigore.

Just tamed this guy, Sentinels server, 5:04 PM (which is 7:04pm realm time, I am Pacific Coast time personally). Last night I was afk for no more than 5 minutes, come back to find Trigore DEAD right next to me. It was about 10:30 my time (12:30 realm time) - I had talked to another hunter that morning who said they tamed him 3am (5am realm) that same morning, so I wasn't expecting him until at LEAST 11pm my time to make the full 20. If it was truly 20 hours between spawns, I put his respawn time at 6:30pm (8:30pm realm time) after the unfortunate kill at 10:30pm the night before - however, it is safe to say he CAN be LESS than 20 hours - he respawned for me both times at 18-19 hours.

So just a helpful suggestion or two, if you don't have NPC scanner, GET IT (AND CLEAR YOUR CACHE OFTEN)!!! I was upstairs putting on my makeup for Halloween tonight when I heard the horns go off, I ran downstairs (surprised I didn't kill myself on the way down with how fast I was going), and saw him. Again, I was NOT expecting him to spawn earlier than 6:30pm. That being said, its better to be safe than sorry - if you expect him at a certain time, log on and camp at least an hour to an hour and a half BEFORE the expected arrival, you never know!!

I have had a total of 40+ hours camping this guy on and off. I'm SO glad it's over! He is wonderful, it's worth the effort! And to those who want to give up because people are jerks, DON'T!! You'll get him!!

Wait, I thought Blizzard altering the cache system meant that NPC scan wouldn't give warnings anymore. How'd you get it to work again?
