I have started a Goblin hunter, and want some pets that are small, to suit the small size of the Goblin.
Currently level 24
Any ideas?

Re: Pets suited for a small race
Seagulls and Ravens both have fairly small critter-esque models:
Any of the demon dogs are adorably miniature sized, especially at lower levels, and they feel like they'd match a goblin
Or perhaps a gazelle, I recall them being pretty tiny, especially with their slender forms
I would mention a porcupine but they're not until you're in Pandaria.;;

Re: Pets suited for a small race
Well, besides the excellent suggestions above, a crane maybe? I remember the one from the Panda starting zone being SUPER small when I first tamed it. But not until Pandaland as well... What about a wasp? I've always associated Goblins with bug/insectoid pets for some reason. Monkeys? They're are pretty wacky like goblins. Also, while not particularly small, I think this guy/gal is pretty goblintastic, and JUST the right level!
I'll also mention Glyph of Lesser Proportion to minimize size. Hope you find a good pet.

Thanks for the suggestions!
I do have a wasp, its a tad big.
I got to level 27, and tamed a Vale Monkey in Stranglethorn.
Thanks for the tip on the crab! I found and tamed Carcinak in Hillsbrad. Had about a 10 minute wait, heh.
The Ravens and Seagulls are too high level as yet.

Higher level, but Rankbite Ancients (Pandaland turtle) are really small when tamed. I just pulled mine out of the stable and thought of this thread.

Sorry for late reply, but no problem! I just switched one of my Hunters to Goblin and over to the Nesingwary guild, I think I'll put taming Carcinak on my mental to-do list along with a Seagull, Monkey, and Boar...Bikutandabis wrote:Thanks for the suggestions!
