And cocodiles have six!
Ah ah ah, in WoW we have crocolisks! The aquatic relatives of basilisks, which have six legs. So at least that is somewhat explained within Warcraft phylogeny.

Dogs do. Really, only demon/rune'd ones and mastiffs currently in game. There's a lot of real dog breeds that'd be awesome to see in game. Any of the hounds, retrievers, Labradors, german shep's, the possibilities are endless. Would love to have a golden retriever, or a beagle or a collie, or a sheepdog, or a corgi.

Cats. Come on, where's our Stormsabers? Love me a good Stormsaber.

Seriously. Just take the armor off the Swift Stormsaber. Bam. Best kitty.
Please don't hug the shiny kitties. The shiny kitties are angry all the time, and I wouldn't want Crazy Red Eyed Kitties to nom your face.

Being limited to 5 options is not enough since I think all of the vanilla and many of the BC skins can use a makeover. Regardless of the family. Even some of the WOTLK (wolves especially) could use some attention. I love using Skoll for one of my hunters but the emaciated look is unappealing and I'd prefer a more full bodied look. He's a spirit beast but it's still a LK wolf skin underneath.

The Hyenas though I think are in most need of work out of all. They just aren't quite there for me. Many of the cats are in a similar boat with the hyenas and wolves in their skins can be improved upon with higher detail.

we all know I am biased toward dog updates. We have Mastiffs and weird zombie dogs....just horrible. At minimum re skin some wolves with K9 based colors like what Akyo did

I like that husky, since they look a lot like wolves to begin with. A german shepherd would work too, for the same reason (depending on which skeleton it used perhaps).

I'm a bit biased, I'd love to see a Labrador in the game, but then it probably wouldn't make the most ferocious attack dog ;)

I wonder if they'd need to alter much on the Brew Pup to make a usable St Bernard.

Granted I know nothing about animation but it would seem that to make the brew pup a tamable would be fairly easy no? I mean you can enlarge the pet with pet biscuits to almost tamed pet size and I've never seen any hiccups with it since it seems to use the mastiff skeleton anyway. If they shrunk the mastiff skeleton to make the brew pup then it doesn't seem all that hard to enlarge it again.
