Oil-Covered Hawk
Contacted Petopia, but have not seen this changed yet. The Oil-Covered Hawk is not labled as a beast and cannot be tamed, but the identical Oiled Fledgling in the same group spawn are labled as beast and can be tamed.

Re: Oil-Covered Hawk
As far as I know, they lose the "oil slick" effect once tamed.

Yes, the oil slick disappears once tamed. It's like a debuff or disease that just discolours the model, but they do not keep it unfortunately.

Re: Oil-Covered Hawk
I remember going to tame one of the wolves there cause they was so deeply black, almost like a shadow (evil shadow?!) and getting disapointed when it dident keep the effect XDRyno wrote:Obviously because the hunter has the sense to wash the poor thing!Vephriel wrote:Yes, the oil slick disappears once tamed. While this feature of the Grimtotem Spirit Guide wasn't exactly intended... - it will still be possible in future for everyone who wishes to tame this NPC to do so
