Hey all. I just decided today to tame the lone hunter wolf pet. Ive been using the tame/kill/revive method. And countless times. I managed to successfully do this 10 times but each time i would log back on and revive the wolf it would just come up as ghost form and no sword. I literly read up on everything even Griffs posts but still no luck =(. So if anyone could help me out that would be great. Ty

Have you tried the ( /cast [nochanneling] Revive Pet ) macro? Spam that freely as you're finishing the tame, helps a lot. Are you killing it yourself or having a friend 1 KO it? It's a lot easier with a friend, Wyvern Sting is very hard to get right. Be sure to revive the pet if you can with this macro, means it worked. Otherwise, keep at it and happy hunting!

Yeah I had a Magey 1 shot it. Just frustrating. I will have to try it that way and see how it goes. Do you think that macro will increase my chances of him reviving as the bladed version? By what I read if I did it the way everyone posted i should of had it 30 trys before  . But again ty for the tip

I tamed this guy a month or two ago. I took various amounts of gear off and timed it right with traps to kill him. When I revived him, it took a long time before I had one keep the sword. My timing must have been off hitting revive. Once I did get it right, I've had no problems with the sword dissappearing. I just resummoned him to make sure it didn't change. Still there.
Try hitting the revive as soon as you can. I was waiting too long to hit that and even if I didn't see the yellow swirl, it didn't always work. I think I took to trying to cast revive before the tame was even finished.
Hang in there and you will get it. :) It took me days, a few tries at a time, before I had my gear level, distance, and timing right. Having someone one shot him for you should help a lot provided it's timed right too.

Some of the posts I saw everyone was saying they got it in 2 tries. But this is not the case by what I have been going threw and your post. I Guess its one of those times it gliches and gives the bladed version of him. I will of coarse keep working on getting this little guy. Ty so much for the reply =P

When I tried to tame him with the sword in his head about a month or so ago, the reviving method didn't work when i just logged to the character screen. But it did work when I logged all the way to the log-in screen. Don't know if that matters or not, but just thought i would bring it up.
