I don't remember reading this anywhere, but I don't follow the tamable threads closely sooo this is really cool Its so creepy though haha

i've looked and haven't found any information about them on the forum... this is huge news, it's an enitre new model!

That's the first time this has been reported - that's fantastic! Wonderful find.

Just tested, and yes, they DO spawn even if you don't have the quest. You cannot tell which beasts will spawn them, so just hunt down mushan, moths, and porcupines till one spawns. Also, don't use any AoE, you'll kill em. (Killed one as it spawned with glave toss lol)

UPDATE: Using burrow kills it
resurrected it
It uses borrow fine (no animation)

UPDATE 2: Summoning seems to take a very long time for this...

I tried taming a jormungar tunneler in northrend. They have the same mode yet they are not tameable. Does anyone know what other version's of this mob are tameable? I want one now and don't want to wait for that daily to be available to me.

Edit: Oh I didn't see they spawned even without the quest.

Oh darn it, and I haven't unlocked these dailies! I need to do that today, do want giant creepy maggot.

I'm currently checking the toothed and toothless models, don't worry about it. (Although some help would be nice, check Wain's thread for the full list.)
So far, I've found no others tameable.

Oh, that's exciting! Always thought those models were awesome looking.

Since we're checking others, I happened to be in Dragonblight while reading this so I checked the baby Jormungar Tunnelers, but they're not tameable.

I hope this is intentional, I'd love to see more of these particular skins.

I'm really hoping there will be a tamable black model. Those are my fave!

I in fact was reading this thread while in Naxx, and can sadly say that the Mutated Grubs are not tameable.

It definitely seems like a mistake then. But hopefully they'll let it stay. I've already let Noah know because if they DO decide to change it then I'd prefer they do it sooner rather than later, when people get too attached to their new pets. But as I said, I hope they don't get rid of it. Larvae always seemed like silly pets to me, since they don't have much in the way of a developed brain. But since they allowed silkworms then they might as well allow maggot types too

ugh gonna take forever for me to level my other hunt in time to tame these I hope they don't remove them, I want one very much, & I agree always loved these models as well. Gotta bust it up on my hunt she's 86 now... when I get one on Tilo, gonna name it the obvious: ShaiHulud or Shaitan haha

I just named mine Shaitan, for the aforementioned obvious reasons. Next one shall be "Herbert".
