So, for some reason I decided to check Silithid Colossuses in AQ40, if they would still hiss when walking.

To my surprise, they don't hiss when walking anymore, but that "thump" noise what they do when they look around is now louder (at least I think it is).

Time to try to form a bond with one...

Hnnngh! I better double-check this to be sure. Now my favorite pet can actually be used when walking backwards / swimming?!

If you ask me, the hiss was way more intrusive than the thump. The thump happens only every once in a while, randomly. The hiss? Turn walk on and try to RP and you get constant shrieking and angry whispers about your pet making (direct quote) "queer noises". The removal of that shriek is a godsend for me, RPing with a silithid colossus out.

The hiss didn't seem to happen that often to me. I always heard the thumping like every few seconds and it was really annoying when more than one hunter had the darn thing out.
