Molten Front Flashbacks

After a whole lot of unexpected hunting, it's Molten Front flashback time! The overview video is up now and the others will be following over the next weeks. Enjoy this trip down memory lane with me.

Is that Dante next to you in the opening shot? That video brings back a great memory of being one of a group of Horde and Alliance hunters that just took turns trying to tame Kirix. I got him that night, though it took a lot of tries.

Ah those were the days. Jessibelle would be spending her days with Dante, looking out over the front, watching for the challenges that spawned and rehoming them appropriately.

Yes, it is!

I wouldn't be doing the Molten Front justice without including him.

Yup, I did that as well on both 85 hunters.

Another reason that I ultimately ended up with the intro/outro there.

Lotta memories in that place.

Indeed, Kalli! I made a lot of friends during those times, even united Horde and Alliance hunters alike to help each other tame things.

Shockingly, when it came time to get footage for these videos, I never once fell from the jumping stones - muscle memory is a beautiful thing! And I certainly slipped enough times at level.

Remember the little lone scorpid that had to share the ledge with mean ol' Kirix? That's Dante. :3 The Petopians dubbed him that and a lot of hunters(least the ones I met) also adopted the nickname too, some even tamed him.

Ah... Molten Front memories. Mostly I remember things like Anthriss always being killed (

), but something about Skarr is: I remember seeing him up one time (I was standing where the questgivers were, before the jumping stones), and since I wasn't going to tame him myself, I wanted to help someone nearby tame him. So I saw a nearby alliance hunter. I pointed at him, and then I pointed at Skarr.

And then he ran right off the edge of the cliff in response. I couldn't help but laugh, even though I felt bad! I can't remember if ANYONE came to tame him. It was surreal.

I really enjoyed your commentary on this video. I didn't realize Banthalos had history behind him. The story of the huntresses was very interesting.
