I got one! I don't know how it worked but all we did was kill and rez. We tried for the tiger with a chain but when i tried to tame it said I had an active summon. Logged and whatnot and BAM I got a sha tiger

Well, maybe that's my reason for having no luck. I'll try over there now

I've tried this method for hours when the pic from China forum was linked to no avail. What trickery did you use?
p/s
Can anyone link all of the tamable beasts that are under the effect of the sha?

Re: It works, Sha aura effect pet
Finally got mine after 4ever *_*! Been doing the tame/kill/spam revive method - Had my boyfriend 1-shot it at end of tame. For days while attempting this it would revive with the buff *sadface* If you get a succesful tame the pet will disappear and when you try and tame another pet it will give you and error saying you have an active summon already - but you will not see it in your stable - log out and you will see it on your character selection screen - log back in - revive - sha-touched lovely !
Good Luck all! This literally takes a lotta hours and a lotta luck!
I still wanna know if it keeps it's sha-touch on death ._.

Doubtful, very, considering the mobs themselves don't keep it when they die.Poearia wrote:Finally got mine after 4ever *_*! Willing to help others with their tames if need be -- shooting for one of my own once I bribe my guildies, but I know the timing and have a free monk for melee hits.

Off topic but I'm going to try and see if this works for shadow form owls in jade forest and porcupines in Kun Lai in sha patches.

Re: It works, Sha aura effect pet
Had my guildie try to help me. We managed to get a couple good timings, where the tame would go off as it died then it vanished. However, revived it spamming revive after the tame to have the pet revive without the buff...
Now question.. do I log after the attempted tame, or spam revive and hope it revives? I recall with the wolf when I revived it right after it would come back no buff, but logging without the attempt would give me the pet.

Thing is I didn't know I had the pet. Just keep trying until you get an error of having an active summon with no pet out.Astratia wrote:Had my guildie try to help me. Hm.. Not having any luck getting another. Still working at it though!
However, now I'm worried. Do you guys think the sha effect will survive through a race change? D:

Well, tried for about four hours there with two different people. No luck, but super grateful they stuck around as long as they did. Love my guildies for that.
Got my fingers crossed they won't hotfix it as that cat is something else. Great job to those who got it, and good luck to those who haven't yet.

Re: It works, Sha aura effect pet
Race changing shouldnt affect the pet in any way as its not a death, entering a zone which wipes buffs, deletion of the character permanently, or an interaction between pet and the game. I see no reason the pet should change ^_^Bowno wrote:Hm.. Not having any luck getting another. Still working at it though!

Re: It works, Sha aura effect pet
Okay thank you ^^ Just wanted to be sure. Once I can afford it, I'm planning on a change. I just wouldn't want anything to happen if I did D: Would have been a waste!Xakaal wrote:Race changing shouldnt affect the pet in any way as its not a death, entering a zone which wipes buffs, deletion of the character permanently, or an interaction between pet and the game.
