I will look again at the hydra emotes and let you know. I do have the latest version. It works great without issue for me.

I haven't had any issues. If I think of any new emotes, I'll be sure to post em!

So hey, I'm curious if there's a version of the editor that works on Mac computers? I'd love to add some custom ones (Especially for foxes. Almost all my fox pets are too goofy with the current emotes. XD I love the emotes, but they just don't fit my grumpy foxes!), but it seems like my computer hates the kind of program the editor is? Forgive me if I somehow missed something or whatever, but.. Yeah. Does anyone at least know if it's possible to make a version that could work on Mac? XD

Sadly, as far as I'm aware, there is only the one version of the Editor. At least I only have access to the Windows version of it. Sorry about that :(

I'm not sure how easy/hard programs like this are to make but I can try asking my brother if he can make a Mac-compatible version. In the meantime if you'd like me to stick some more grumpy emotes in for foxes let me know what you'd like to see :D

Compatibility is always the biggest PITA to mess with no matter if its HTML or Programming. Trust me.

Yeah, I figured that was the case. But I understand. That kinda stuff is pretty hard to figure out, so oh well. XD

But yeah, I'll see if I can think of anything for grumpy foxes, Vare! Like, I adore goofy foxes, but man grumpy foxes are my thing. (Anyone who knows my Pokemon roleplaying escapades will know this fact very well. XP)

To be honest, though, I could see some of the grumpier emotes from both cats and wolves working for foxes, in absence of any completely new ones. I would totally try to think of some right now, but maaaan I'm about to crash into bed so

(also hnnng thank you for offering to add some grumpier fox emotes like holy heck you don't really need to add completely new emotes just for me bUT IT'S NOT LIKE I'M REFUSING THE OFFER <3)

Been a while since I posted here. But then there's not been much to say :P Nothing's new and a lot of you are having fun with your own custom emotes using the Editor.

What I'm here to say now is that an update to PetEmote to keep it up-to-date is available. However I must stress that those of you who have the Editor and personal custom emotes will lose all your custom emotes when the update is downloaded. Please be careful to write down all your favourites and be prepared to re-enter them. If there are any that you particularly like and feel others will enjoy please tell me what they are so I can get them added to the core in the next update.

You're welcome Teigan  It's been a joy to maintain and write for this wonderful addon :) As far as I'm aware everything is working fine and everyone is enjoying it still! Watching the Legion updates carefully for any new families that might come our way :D

Welcome back

So. Mech pets. A whole new family for mechanical, robot friends.

You know what that means!

A whole new family means whole new emotes and I need you guys' help compiling a list of wacky stuff for our hand-made companions to play around with. Computer-based, Internet-based, anything to do with mechanisms, cogs and gears and pipes and various doodads that make up this kind of stuff. Explosions? Errors? References to Siri/Cortana etc? Anything goes! I look forward to seeing what you guys can come up with :D

Other things to think about: Would master/mistress still work here? Should I use genders or keep them neutral? Share your thoughts :)

Oh, I like the idea of a gender neutral option being added as a general rule, not just for mechs. :D

Master/mistress still works, since even mech pets are still bonded. I'll admit that R2D2 came to mind immediately.

"Mech bleeps cheerfully."
"Mech beeps indignantly at <target>."
"Mech whirs quietly as it processes <target>."

Food for thought. ^_^

I have some!

________ has crashed. Please reboot.
______ begs for oil /grease.
_________'s battery may be low. Please charge.
________ is wound up with excitement.
_________ playfully shocks their mistress /master.

This is what I can think up for now. I'll be back.

Maybe something like...

"<name> lets out a puff of steam. It seems embarassed."

Here are some emotes for the mech family. Really enjoyable to think of them :)
--whistles triumphantly after catching a butterfly.

--clicks with curiosity while watching its master's/mistress's movements.

--suddenly stands very still. After close inspection, you/its master/mistress discover/s an error message: Error: · #100256: Low Battery./· #190832: Low Affection Level./· #174012: Requires additional killing of things.

--'s cogs and engines suddenly make a loud, shrill noise. Someone needs oil!

--'s eyes turn red, as it beeps and clanks menacingly at its master/mistress. Warning!/Alert! A virus has entered <your pet>'s system!

About the Scalehides, those could share some with the Clefthooves and Direhorns, as well as some unique to the species, just like the Oxen can share some with the Stags and Goats.
Really looking forward to seeing the new emotes for Legion!

"Error 404 error error"
"Warning! Friendly fire enabled!"
"Warning! Warning! Intruder Alert!"

...hhhmmmm something about a blue screen error...
