New Netheray?

I was hoping with this expack we'd see a new model of them, has anyone seen them?

Nope, sorry, I don't think there're any rays on Draenor at all :/

This makes me very sad, I didn't much like the current model, but had hopes they'd add something new.
*Sigh* Oh well, at least I'll have plenty other things to tame instead.
Maybe they'll sneak in the ability to tame cloud serpents...

On Outland, I don't think it nether rays' origins were ever made clear. They could have been sea rays or sky rays, and warped by exposure to the twisting nether and/or the draining of the seas (like how fungal giants were going to have been fungal whales that adapted). Or nether rays could be native to the twisting nether, in which case we could see a new model when (if) we ever see the Burning Legion again. TBH, I think that the ray model has aged much better than many of the other BC and vanilla pet models.

Not to derail the thread, but how about new warp stalkers? The lore during BC was that warp stalkers were native to Draenor, but corrupted by the Legion. I'd kill (some video game monsters) for a warp stalker model that looked more lizardy without all those weird spikes, or at least placed down their spine.

There are rays on Draenor and they use the Outland model with the same colours. I've been watching in case new colours are added, but it looks like they'll be using the same ones. No real biggie as at least the model looks OK, but it's impossible not to hope for more Same with warp stalkers. I'd LOVE to see another version of those!

@Xota Ohhhh!!! New warp stalkers would be so cool...
I wouldn't mind a whole new update to them as a whole to be honest, same with a better basilisk.
Or Snakes, spiders, beetles and new cat models.
I mean, they covered tigers, a lot, but what about the rest of the cat family tree?
Beetles look awesome, but I'd like to see more kinds.
Spiders...some new spider breeds would be very nice.
And snakes, I want something that looks like the pandaria snakes!!

Not to mention I wanna tame horses...
Or gryphons...
