Strashaz Hydra (orange) random?

I talked to the npc and she doesn't give an option to 'go to the past', heading to the island there's a handful of Strashaz Hydras, who're all black and upon landing on the island there's lvl110 mechs, (I'm lvl102), do I need to wait till 110 and finishing some quests to 'see' these? thanks.

The orange ones are the same ID as the black, but they're rarer. So you may have to kill a few black and wait for respawns. If you're unlucky it may take a while.

x2. I got lucky that the furthest one from the main school(?) was orange. They look great and I'm really glad they're not lvl 110.

I'm so glad they put this color back in the game! I remember back in the day I was leveling in Azshara and saw them off the coast and wanted to tame one so badly. Then they were removed with Cataclysm. It took me about 5 minutes, but after I killed all the black ones, 4 of them respawned as orange.
