7.2: Falcosaurs now tameable as Raptors!

Unread post by Wain »

I just tamed a Direbeak Patriarch on the PTR :)

Image

All the Direbeak types were tameable, but I couldn't check the Matriarch as she wasn't present. I haven't checked the other species yet but there's no reason to believe they won't be tameable too.

Bloodgazers (black) are also tameable. The Matriarch was up but of course not actually tameable because she's 111. She's flagged tameable though.

OK, all four species are tameable, all possible NPCs, except the Matriarchs :)

Very cool :) We're certainly getting spoilt in 7.2 :)

(And before someone asks, Rocs aren't tameable, I checked earlier ;) )

The snowfeather is most definitely replacing my present favourite: Teroclaw Hachling. nice thing with them is I have mommy and daddy (Halcyone and Hati, and their baby: a teroclaw battlepet)

With snowfeather it will be the same, but with the snowfeather baby battlepet.

My Goblin is going to be over the moon with that green and purple one. I've never been able to find a raptor that suits her and I have a feeling that this is going to be the one. So happy!

This is an amazing find. I'm not sure I'm going to get one (stables slots are at a premium with Feathermanes incoming), but I'm so happy for those who actually wanted one and soon will be able to get it!

This and Owlcats rank up there as "Should have been tameable from the start". I'm glad that we're getting to tame these ugly things, I've wanted a pet to match the mount and battle pet. It took way too long for this!

No indication that they are making them tamable.

They certainly make great pets. And that hippogryph that was accidentally tameable on the Beta was my favourite pet - it just felt really good as a companion. But I'm also happy that they space things out a bit and it's great we have them to look forward to in 7.2 :) I find it's only frustrating when a key beast misses an expansion entirely and then there's no real window to use them again for a few more. Like skyscreamers, I guess, but we'll see them some time :)

We're due for more troll content, so that's what I'm holding out hope for... Devilsaur mounts + skyscreamer pets in a Zandalari themed expac please.
