I personally am quite sad that they didn't add a HD tamable fox like the fox mount. The mount is quite a nice model, and it would be very beautiful to see all the old foxes throughout the game turned into a recolor of that or at least a few rares with the HD model.

Mhm I agree about the foxes. Kind of surprised they used the old model for the spirit beast. After seeing the mount i went straight to the pet tab to pick up a lookalike only to realize there went any.
Other than that I think my big one would be warp stalkers. My main pet for years was a warpie. <3

lower priority but still welcome would be: More updated spiders (some fuzzy ones!)maybe some new flying serpents and...well, I really got excited about updated chimeras and was pretty sad when they put all the new models into a second pet family. :|I had one of the bugged ones that thought it was a chimera for a while but Blizz hotfixed him.

Yes! I've always loved warp stalkers, but it's a shame they run like weirdos too. And the spiders and flying serpents would be amazing too!

I'm absolutely DYING for a new hyena model. It's so, so old and has never seen a single model update. Please, guys! Hyenas are too cute for this!

Pfftt hell yeah Hyenas need an update! Also crabs do too. No not the "cata" crabs the OG Vanilla kind. Oh and Tallstriders.

TARANTULAS. Yes we have plenty of spiders but I want an updated tarantula model. They could make it look so good now!

I forgot heyena's were even in game, but now that I remember they are, YES! They need an update even more than the bears did.

(i) Bears that are faithful updates of the originals. I still feel fooled and frustrated by that.

(ii) Moths. Something like lunar moths with the long tails on their wings would be awesome. The moth model we have is ancient.

(iii) Updated hyenas.

Have been saying for the last six months or so that I would love love love love love love love to see a spirit Beast using the fox Mount model but using the leyfeather hippogryph electric Purple colors!!!!

I'd also like the see the Hyenas get an update, that and the old demonic hounds. Perhaps the Lynx models too, so that Blood Elf rangers can use their racial pets without uh.. the pixel count.

Snakes! I'd love for them to finally implement those pythons as tamable, and honestly I really don't care that they don't have an open mouth attack, blunt force trauma works!

Dogs and gorillas—I don't use pets from either family (and thankfully I don't have to right now) but both families don't have any pets that aren't ridiculously old (or, in the case of jowlzilla, just WEIRD). When they were the only two families that provided kings/stats/however you want to call it for non-BM, I was very, very sad. I'm a little scared that kind of thing might happen again.

I know there are a lot of HD new model cats (and the WoD sporebats) but I'd love to see faithful updates for the older models. But like, actually faithful, none of this "oops we desaturated it to fit in better with WoD's brown" nonsense like happened with my tauren DK's fur and my dwarf's red hair (still bitter :|) :x

Last time I used the model viewer (before Pandaria!), the Night Elf Druid cat form had the option of having the skin color for the two lynx pets. Ignoring the dangling neck bits, it was a perfect HD upgrade to the default lynx models. Like, no texture upgrade was needed; it looked perfect with just a skin swap.

Chromaggus and Kurken could use model upgrades too, they're pretty ugly when compared next to newer models. It's also unfair that the default Core Hounds got nice new HD models, but the good looking core hounds didn't get updates.

EDIT: Arcturis as well. The only Spirit Beast that I like, and it's got a horribly low-quality model.

I'm still waiting for the updated Tallstriders from the WoD Concept Art.

Yes please! And the void hound model with all the eyes It'd be awesome if all the other core hound relatives got updates to the same quality as the new core hounds

Hyenas - Poor things deserve an update, they are from Vanilla!

Lynx - Just.. Keep the same skeleton but with more pixels. (I love the Legion cats buuuut I have to admit that they have a weird neck, and I still love the lynx and the saber cat model, okay? I would throw all my cats for an updated version of the lynx. Ok, maybe not all, but you see my point)

Winged serpent - Same as hyenas.

Fox - The new fox mount is lovely, it would be nice to have it as a pet!

Snakes - Same, it's a model from Vanilla

And for all new models : Please, let the black stay black and not some darkish grey/brown!

Hyenas I would love to see, maybe Gazelles too. I would like to see more "updated" lions like Sambas, but for the other colors like White and Black.

I know there's more families that need serious model touch ups, but I'd love to see an upgraded Saber cat. Like the actual mount-model Sabers from Winterspring or Night Elf mount cats. I know cats have a lot of upgraded models, but I always keep hope that I'll see an updated Nightsaber or Frostsaber. Upgraded tigers and Legion-lynx are cool but I want REAL upgraded Nightsabers, not lynx cats they call "nightsabers". The Pandaren tigers got close, but they're still not the giant-fanged saber that I'd love to see next to my Night Elf.

Rak'shiri is what made me level a Hunter in the first place. I'd throw money at my screen for an upgraded Rak'shiri in the future. XD
