So been circling around Gloomfang with my macro /tar Very Lost Feathermane Kitten and detect hidden on for half an hour, and I could not find this lil cuties.

Any tips?

That is just one of the areas he patrols through. From what I have seen, he has a good-sized path through the area (where wolves can be found). Because of that, another Hunter could have found it somewhere else on his patrol and tamed it.

Have your volume turned up and listen for the stealth noise-thats how I found him.

He actually found me while I was tabbed out. Make sure you don't have a bodyguard, as they could kill it on you. Rexxar's stupid bear almost killed mine.

I found it exact at 29.33
It was in stealth Modus.

I'm curious if anyone knows the spawn timer on the Very Lost and Elusive one? I've been stalking my realm and bouncing around the group finder and have yet to come across it. I just want to cuddle the wee lost owlcat!

Just to update, I'm not sure if I'm a dinkleberry or something was adjusted, but Track Hidden didn't work for me. After three days of waiting for a red dot and annoying guildies with realm hop spam, I finally caught it by flying in circles close to the ground. I heard the stealth sound, like someone else posted above, and got aggro... But no other indication that this very lost sweetie was nearby.

The good news is that the respawn is fairly short: Addie killed the one I was trying to tame, so I flew around and did a few WQs in Suramar, came back in about 15 minutes or so, and found another one skulking around to tame. I dropped an ice trap, and tamed her while she was frozen. 29, 33 near Gloomfang (a stand of trees clustered together) is a good spot to start searching. The kitten does not appear to show up on Track Hidden, but you will hear the "stealth" sound when she is close.
