Well, the 7.3 PTR just went up, and with it, new icons have entered the datafiles. Two of which gave me new pet tingles. They're labeled mounts, but as we've seen quite often, if a mount version exists, more often than not, regular versions will.

In this case, they're "Argus Talbuk" and "Manaray" (There's more icons, I just chose 3 lol)





One other one stood out, and that's because it doesn't fit in Argus: (Well, and the 4 new corgi icons, but I don't see us getting tameable corgis as awesome as that'd be. I really wish Blizz would listen to the fact some of us want cutesie pets. X_X)



Perhaps we'll finally get tameable Unicorns, which muffinus has made clear they know we want?

Either way, figured good idea to get a 7.3 pet speculation thread, since every patch has one.

*crossing fingers* I saw them too and I can't wait to see the datamined models! It would be so exciting if we got some new pets to tame.

First glance at the mana ray model from the mount! They're so cool!!! I bet we'll get wild ones too. (edit: and the talbuk!)

Can someone wake up Valnaaros and tell him the 7.3 PTR is live and we need him to stop everything he is doing and find all the pets? Thanks!

They're literally mutated amalgamations of people fused into some beastlike shape, it's so messed up but also really awesome. Everything looks so cool this patch!

On MMO-Champ, new *POSSIBLE* pet things (not counting mana rays, as Veph posted that)




AND I DONT KNOW WHAT THE HELL THIS IS BUT I WANT ONE YESTERDAY. (there's 4 colors)

I've found the lizard-cats. They're still untameable, as are the talbuks. I can't imagine they WON'T be eventually.. Sadly the rays do not have a diet. The lizardcats come in at least three different colors so far.

God, seeing warp stalkers again has me crying tears of joy. ;u; I hope there's more than just that one...I'd love to see their model updated.
