I would love to do this myself, but I unfortunately do not have any Hunters below 100 :(

I have multiple hunters in their 70s and one at 69, if you think leveling her to 70 would be useful. After that, it's a barren wasteland until 103. Anything above 100 isn't useful for this? It's been a while since I've been on the PTR--it will be this evening at least before I have uninterrupted time to work on this.

I remember when Mania had a hunter at every three levels, for testing purposes!

That would be great, thanks! :) whatever you have time and characters to do is appreciated. I'm certainly not asking for all of them to be checked :)

BTW, I'm going to be away in NZ from this Wednesday till Monday 22nd (just under 2 weeks). If 7.3.5 comes out in that time I won't be able to adjust Petopia for the level scaling changes until I get back. Or if the volcano I'm hiking around erupts and turned me into a lava-encrusted statue, it may be even longer.

SpiritBinder will be back the day I leave and will keep an eye on the place till I get back.

So, how long might the delay be if that volcano erupts? Because, you know, we can get impatient ;-)

No changes have been made in today's build. The three Silithid rares are still untamable and the misclassified beasts have not been corrected.

I dunno, it seems weird that a) they even needed a family for that and b) there's no sign of what a 'void stalker' would look like aside from the one exclusive to void elves...
(source: MMOC)
It's possible that the Void Stalker won't be the final name of the Family and may include others as a Void Beast family? Maybe a kool Void Hound will be made tameable game wise labeled as a demon but lore wise are hounds of the Void Lords and aren't part of the legion just got enslaved or summoned to Outlands and other spots.

Valnaaros wrote:We've been discussing it in another thread, but I agree with you. On the surface, it just seems weird that they would make a family for a single model. There is probably more to it (hopefully).
It's possible they added voidstalkers as a different family as Void Beasts may be to add more void corrupted pets like maybe the awesome Void Hounds like Occu'thar boss from Baradin Hold in the Cataclysm Wintergrasp.

Void Beasts:
- Voidstalker
- Void Hound
- Felhound (?)
- Felstalker (?)

Racially able to tame Void Beasts for Void Elves but a separate tome from a Void Elf rare maybe? And only hunters can loot it like the Isle of Thunder rares for the sealed tome of the lost legion for warlocks for other races?

New build about to be plopped on the PTR that is marked as Release Candidate. That means that if the Silithid rares aren't tagged tameable, they are either not intended to be tamed, or they were overlooked. Same for the scorpions still being marked as part of the Silithid family, if they are after this build.

I expect 7.5 to drop this Tuesday for... uh. Reasons.
But they're pretty good reasons.

I'd say the chances of that are fairly likely, yeah.

Happy to help, Qraljar! :D

The servers are down atm, but I'm on standby. Hopefully they have been made tamable.

Hopefully. If not, I'll try to contact Muffinus. Not to pile on him, but if they're not flagged tameable, and especially if the scorpions are still listed as silithids, we might have to give someone at Blizzard a heads-up.

Honestly, I'm a bit down on 7.3.5 after the Qiraji mount thing, so my expectations are a bit low atm, especially surrounding the new silithid model.

But yes. I always appreciate you or someone else doing a check-up, as my Demon Hunter has no Beast Lore. :(

Weird that the servers are taking so long to come back up.

No, they never did. Either they are having a really big issue with the servers, or there is something in particular that they are getting ready/including.

There are people that think it's taking so long because they're simultaneously trying to get the alpha working, or up and running.
