Not entirely fixed yet; it's still a spider in every way other than model and incorrect spellbook. Stable still shows mine as a Spider, beast lore still shows it as a spider, and by all means it IS a spider. Of course, Blizzard will fix it, but there was no reason to do so. We have carrion birds in the bird of prey family and vice versa, so why is this poor spider being bullied?

I think it is because the Carrion Birds and Birds of Prey are similar in many ways and, honestly, I could see them becoming merged someday. Spiders and Scorpions, however, are different enough that they have their own distinct families. A scorpid cannot shoot webs, nor can a spider sting. Besides, there is only one carrion bird (outside of the raven) that is in the Birds of Prey family, which means it could very well just be an oversight.

On-topic: the wasps are still a part of the Silithid family.

I suspect that's because of your cache. If you empty that you might see it as a scorpion.

So that means everything is fixed other than the wasps being marked as silithids, then?

And the vultures listed exotic, unless that has also been fixed.

On EU, they are no longer listed as exotic for me when I beast lore them.

Ah, good, then they are probably fixed for the US :)

Yep. They'll prolly have the Silithid Wasps fixed soon, too, and the 3 Silithid rares will remain untameable. I guess that was intended in the first place, then, even if I don't really get it.

I assume my Hati is big because I zapped it after the changes were made.

I never named my spiderscorp, and when his species changed his default name did not, so I now have a not-as-little brown scorpion who is still called "Spider"

I think a new build was pushed to live. Silithid wasps aren't fixed and the rare elite silithids are still untameable.

It's a weird kind of feeling, simultaneously cheering about all the new BfA additions, while also REEEEEing about no tameable Silithids.
